sign up for a twitter account and get updates several times per inning.

Edited to add that it is all free. Also to add that you don't have to "tweet." I have never tweeted but it is great for getting updates when you are away from the computer.

Type each name into twitter search and click on the "Follow" button.

bartgregory, MSU_Baseball, loganlowery, matthewcstevens, diamonddogvoice, d1baseball, and TheJunction

Thanks to 38843Dawg for sharing those names.

Usually there is a twitter app for your smart phone that makes it simple to check the scores.

So... if your computer is sick how are you on Six Pack.... anyway. twitter is absolutely the best thing that has happened to MSU sports among other things.... you sign up... get an account and "follow" tons of MSU folks who always give up to the second updates on your twitter feed. Lots of great info, stats, scores, stories, etc. Pretty much all major players in the athletic department have twitter and they tweet regularly. Seriously... i never tweet but am on twitter a dozen times every day or more... just to catch up on the latest.

If you decide to get an account, feel free to ask on here who to follow.

hope this helps.

So....how do you have 51 post and still not know how to reply correctly.

Twitter is great for scores and updates but I can do without a lot of the crap. An example would be Mullen's latest tweet about buying custom furniture in Tupelo. I am sure the people that own the furniture store are great alumni but I could really care less about where to buy a couch in North MS.

of the person's post you would like to respond to. If you click it and reply, people will know who you are responding to. I was joking that you have posted 51, now 52 times and have not figured it out. Someone will follow with a graphic to explain it, I am too lazy to look it up.

I sincerely apologize. I had no idea that there are correct and incorrect ways to respond to post on a thread. I always use the "quick reply" box at the bottom of the page ( i think that's what it's there for) and will continue to do so. hope this doesnt upset youtoo badly.

ha ha.... are you serious?

courtesy to the other readers on the board. 99% of the posters on this board have no problem with it and it makes it much easier to read the board. If you are not interested in doing it, no skin off my back, but I seriously doubt you will make it very long here.

It is not like what you are being asked to do is very difficult or time consuming but I am assuming your 16 year old *** just thinks it is cool to do things your way.

Good work buddy, you are an internet bad ***.

OK.... 1) i never attempted to be or implied that i was trying to be an "internet bad ***" that was the other of you who take this message board world a bit too far 2) i passed up 16 about a decade and a half ago 3) if it that big of a deal, then please explain the difference in the two ways of responding and why doing it one way or the other will have anything to do with "making it here very long"

There is nothign different on the thread itself that I can see.... the only difference I can see that is that on the main page, the alignment of the responses under the main thread heading could be different.... but again, what's the big deal.... the thread still reads in the same order of progression.

and the name calling is so juvenile.... you accuse me of hiding behind my screen but i am not the one calling names, threatening to be forced to leave, etc. I simply don't understand what the big deal is about how you respond and up until this conversation did not even know that there was a difference.

I have posted here before (obviously) and been a member for years and nothing has ever been said .... what's the big deal?... please explain. without all of the useless little photos and silly cyber threats.

Graphics have even been provided to help explain it to you. I refuse to continue and assume that you will either learn and continue posting here for years to come or your being a member here for years will end shortly.

Either way, it really makes no difference to me.

I refuse to believe that you are the age you claim because any reasonable adult could read the above explanations and understand the need to reply correctly. Any reasonable adult would realize they are the only one responding in in the quick reply window and would put 2 and 2 together and realize they were doing it wrong.

And as far as the name calling, yes I think you are a dipshit. Every time you reply to this thread and argue your point, you prove that you are a larger dipshit than I originally expected.

The original name calling and posting of the internet tough guy was a way to inject a little humor into a post that 99% of the people here understand and don't want to read about.

When your parents leave the den and you can use the family computer again, I am sure you will have a witty and well thought out reason for continuing to reply wrong. I cannot wait.
