My hate for them goes beyond the 92 game.

Duke won 2 titles that should have been UK's!!! 2010 and 2015. We had the best team BOTH of those years, yet the teams that beat us both of those years(WVU, Wisc.) played like dog crap the next game against Duke.

Then you add in ALL of the unwarranted HYPE they receive CONSTANTLY during the season by not only ESPN, but CBS also!!!

So watching them CHOKE is a PLEASURE once we lose our of the Tournament!!!
Man--anyone who lived through '92 has enough reason there. Imagine that happening today and how it would be viewed? Instead it was celebrated and announcers were BEGGING for Laettner to not be thrown out. It was sickening.

2004 and 2025 in San Antonio will always be historic for Duke hating fans. In '04 in the Semifinal against UConn, Duke is up 9 late in the game (this of the infamous What a Player, What a Man commentary from Verne Lundquist in Regional Play) with a team of Luol Deng, Shelden "Chewbacca" Williams, JJ Redick, Chris Duhon, etc....and Billy Packer is losing his mind as Coach K goes to full out stall ball (BTW of course Emeka Okafor was in foul trouble for UConn in this game) and UConn proceeds to come all the way back to tie the game and eventually wins in OT as Coach K goes running after officials and is exposed for the vulgar prick he's always been.

Fast forward to tonight-up 6 with 34 seconds left and lose by 3 in regulation? With the true Coach watching in person over his hand selected servant boy coach--too great!!! LOL

All hail Sir J'Wan Roberts for making those two clutch free throws and forever changing the course of human history.

May his tribe increase.

May future generations name a constellation amongst the stars in his honor.

May his face shine and reflect with glorious splendor for all of eternity.

All hail Sir Roberts!

As much as I dislike Duke, I have to give Flagg credit for playing as well as he did this season considering he should have been a high school senior. He is just on the wrong team to get the kind of credit that he probably deserves.

I'm am so turned up right now hahaha.

It's not even the loss. It's the fact that it's the biggest collapse on this stage in modern basketball. Go check out ESPNs gamecast.. Duke was 99% chance to win with a minute left.. and that percentage plummeted like a rock. I can't wait to rewatch.
I can't wait to rewatch it all either. I had long since turned the game off and was just checking on the score online here and there. They were up 14 with like 9 minutes to go. Thought for sure it was over then. Then still up 9 with like 3 minutes to go after Flagg hit a 3. Thought for sure it was over then. Then saw Houston cut it to 1 in the final minute and had to run back downstairs and get the TV back on and watch the ending live. Turned it on right as Proctor missed the front end of the 1 and 1.

No. They won't. No one ever does get over it. You just move on. They'd know that if it ever happened to them before. We can all understand why they woke up to officiating for the first time today.

Ole Danny Hurley will be throwing his Duke socks at the TV watching this replay over and over. "They fkd us!" says Danny.

I don't know if they really got screwed, but the odds are good since Shows was involved.

A key play to me was when Tyrese Proctor held onto the ball and ignored passing to a wide open Flagg or Kneuppel and then bricked the front end of the 1 and 1. Proctor has been the Poster Boy for Duke's insane hype machine for 3 yrs now-he was supposed to be a "can't miss" guy and we're here now. He's got a propensity to play "Hero" ball and it's killed them. Told my Boss who is the biggest Dookie on the planet that I think he'll **** them when it mattered and tonight--it was Tyrese Proctor time! Well done Mate! Way to ignore your open teammates-allow UH to stop the clock and throwing up a brick at the FT line made it even sweeter. Some moments are too big for certain guys and big games aren't a Proctor thing.

Duke has played 1 game in neutral court territory since earlier in the year and they lost tonight as they lost to UK and Kansas. In a game where their followers will say "we were the better team......" which is true in terms of roster investment/talent. Thing is..you have to make sure the $ doesn't got to role players heads and well.....speak on the fouls/non fouls, etc...this was a massive play in the meltdown from a guy who has made it a habit to meltdown.

For those who want to consider NY/NJ area "neutral" for Duke-you obviously don't understand their Subway Alums. So since end of year--their games in Charlotte, Raleigh, and Newark were pro Duke-they go to San Antonio and repeat history with the early season losses in Chicago and Vegas.

Duke had all the announcers, the media, every bandwagon fan in college basketball on their side and still couldn’t win that game. Now their fans are crying about the refs, all I saw in the stands when the final horn sounded was a bunch of red faced crybaby’s.😜
Ian Eagle was heartbroken. But as an allusion to his earlier call, I was FULL MAST!

He's a Duke big-this is what they do more often than not. Their best Bigs are when they get PF's to play the 5--ala Boozer or a Shelden Williams. Remember in '15--Okafor was such a bum defensively with his cankles that they were yanking him out of games and playing small ball defensively.

Amount of big men who go there and leave the same as they enter...it's astonishing.

Duke as a program exemplifies all the ego, elitism, and privilege that finds its origin in hell with their master of ceremonies, Satan himself, and tonight they are burning bright with hellfire in their putrid souls. Their mascot glorifies Satan, and tonight they got treated like Satan, getting cast into the lake of fire.

Burn, hell wenches. Burn.
