Yes, Genocide might be the nastiest fade out.

What makes it worse with Deep Water is that you have Dontae Winslow blowing out an amazing trumpet solo and you're fighting trying to listen to it over this momo breathing and crying.

Yeah although it doesnt ruin the song because Kendrick is in it, it hurts it a little

I'm not a safe driver when Kendrick enters that song, shew wee that's hype.

Even though I'm his biggest fan, ThroughBlue's little Kendrick fetish is kinda weird. There are actually other things going on in the album bruh.

Yeah, I get that fosho Mash.

Just 100% unnecessary IMO, considering it was implied earlier in the song.

I agree that there are other things going on in the album. None of them are nearly as important or impressive as what Kendrick does with his limited time on his three songs. I remember K Dot Kendrick and I was impressed and would listen to his stuff, but then I heard Michael Jordan on OD and he is just about all I have listened to ever since.

Like you said its just straight hype when he is on his game.

I had a Kendrick playlist on my ipod that had OD, Section 80, GKMC and all his features on it and its literally all I would ever listen to. I even sit through some ****** ab-soul songs just to hear Kendrick kill it. Same with Jay Rock.

I will though I havent heard his name recently but Isaiah Rashad had some good ones to listen to.

K.dot is the GOAT, but what Game did was pretty impressive. Dude was lit. That may be my favorite part. Idk. Maybe it just surprised me the most. Had the biggest impact for me.

I am/was a big game fan too. I haven't listened to anyone as much as Kendrick though. Even his half *** songs are better than the majority of what you hear today. I think he half assed Illuminate with soul but I still loved it.

He shocked me for sure. Interesting that he got the only solo song...nice that he really took advantage of it.

Animal is all over Sirius / XM. They played Dre Day, then did the classic now present, and played Animal.

I remember when BBDK linked "Cut You Off" by Kendrick, I bumped that **** like 5 times in a roll. Still play it on some drunk nights on the deck with a fire, Spotify and headphones. Anyone else do this ? It usually starts out with wife and friends with ******** Pop Country, then old country. Then I grab my headphones for the Hip Hop. No lie, I randomly think of songs in my head, could be anything from Big Daddy Kane, Too Short, hell even LL Cool J or GMF, then play it. It is weird but I always play "Remember When" Ti, B.O.B. and KL, and "Flirt" remix. I looked down at my laptop a couple weeks ago, 5:11am.

Animal has a great hook. I can see why it's getting airplay. Lyrics and message make me laugh, but otherwise it's great.

Gametime, lol. But you're probably trolling...

Anyways, this album is so good. I just play it straight through 70% of the time, seems to capture the 'feel' better that way. Can't even recall the last time that was even a consideration?

Na, those are the correct lyrics. Some people just don't have a good ear for the words.

"Hold me closer, Tonnyyy Dannnzzaaaaa!"

Apparently Jude is not. I hear he does a lot of drugs.

Learn diss tracks. Just sounded like every drake song ever to me...

Oooooo I'm a boss, bwoi
Don't try me
Sleep in a bando
And I'm way too f'n cool, yea
Oooooo, they don't even want it
I ain't saying names
But your girl I took her shopping
Yea man I respect these bitches
Oops my bad meant to say my women LOLOL, yeaaaaaaa
Now I'm back to slangin' rocks
Just toured Paris but I swear I cook them rocks, bwoiiiiiiii
Capris with the matching top
Me and your girl we got matching socks
Ooooo and I love to rub her feet
Last week quarter milly in the streets, YEAAAAAAAAA

STFU

I ain't heard nothing. That's everyday Drake. He probably came up with those very clever and unique bars over a FaceTime session with his boi's while eating yams. But he cooks cracks and hangs in bandos, yea.

That's not what back to back was. You are as awful on the paddock as you are in RR

Good call, Shadow.

Top 5 2 weeks later: Damn, so hard....I love it all.

Deep Water
Diarly
Gone
Just Another Day
Talk About It (with the intro leading in...whew)

Changes daily, tho.

How about this, what's your LEAST favorite song?

I don't hate a single one, but my least played thus far is probably 'Satisfiction'. Not sure why...cool beat, Snoop, etc -- just doesn't make my cut when I'm not going straight through, which I try to do.

It may not have a timeless hit like Still DRE, Next Episode, Forgot About Dre...in fact, it clearly does NOT...but I swear it's on par, maybe better, all the way through. The sounds/engineering on this thing are just other-worldly compared to anything else out there in a long time.

Ask me again in 5 years.

Still, classic. :100points:
