Is it okay to go down against the parking direction?

The real question - is it ok to key your vehicle or cut off the stems on all four of your tires when you do that "don't give a damn" stuff

I just go all the way through empty parking spaces to the one on the other side so I’m facing out. Of course I’m not a “Park as close as I can” kind of guy. My fatass needs to walk a little more.

Let’s say you pull into a parking lot with slanted parking spots. There are store fronts on your left, the lane is wide enough for two way traffic, but the parking spots are not facing you.

Is it okay to go down against the parking direction?

Sure, it’s private property. Just bear in mind that I may be coming from the other direction, the correct direction, and I will block the lane an make your *** back all the way out. I’m retired, I got nothing better to do. It’ll be like that unstoppable force meets unmovable object thing.

Apparently this is common practice at the Madison Walmart so you can back into the spot.
