It's been a small subset but with Capel coaching I don't think we are getting any favors in the calls department. Coach K needs to be in there ear all game. Lots of 50/50 calls going the other way last two games.
The way our bigs are playing, I'd almost set up a 5 minute rotation for the first half and tell them whoever is busting their hump, you will get the majority of minutes in the second half.
It's very frustrating to see all this talent seem to go to waste. It's like certain players are ball hogs, others scared to touch the ball, some still chunking up 3s, no defense....I mean I'm not giving up and still have high hopes but dang, we aren't playing 21.
I like Capel and I think he is a fine coach but I am not sure he would be my first or second choice as K's successor.
I'm a better basketball player than Bolden right now. True story.
This will go down as one of the most talented underperforming team K has ever coached and high school rankings after watching this team mean nothing unless you can back it up at the college level and not one of these players can except imo Javin, Grayson, Amile and Kennard. I don't want to hear no excuses about injuries that's enough about it.
Only a 7 point lead but seems like 25 at this point. I've watched the last 8 minutes after waking up suffering the flu the last few days and we have let a big touch the ball once offensively. And that was Bolden losing Allen's pass out of bounds.
Games are gonna be ugly win or lose going forward. Wow get Tatum out of this game.
I agree with this a lot. Some of the fadeaway shots come from his thought process, but the drives you can tell, he always sees the basket unlike someone who is 6'3.
But he's gotta learn from film and he should be a better defender with all that length and talent.
