Given the terrible start and lack of anything from Hurt and Johnson, down 2 at the half ain’t bad. Now if our senior PG could stop gifting them runout turnovers, we might have a shot.

same old story...TO's and decisions. Keeping it close - if they cool down from 3 we will win this

You’d expect that UNC can’t keep this shooting up. If we value the ball in the second half I think we will be fine. I have no confidence that we will value the ball however lol.

most surprising in the first half was the appearance of colman/williams/joey/brakefield for good mins....and they contributed. I hope they see time in the second half and into the rest of the season too.

Only down 2 is great!!!...goldy and roach gotta be strong with the ball...limit TOs and hopefully Hurt can get going...love the rotation of kids...probably should've been the MO....loving Coleman energy and strength down in the paint battling

i think they have figured out that if they play inside we cant stop them....maybe we go zone? need to adjust somehow or they will pound us inside and it will get away

Roy came out with a better plan than K for sure. Seems Duke is going small again now

K had to stop the bleeding in the first five minutes...you could see it immediately...

It’s to late now...game is over...

K is as big of a coaching disappointment as this team on the court.

Just stupid basketball. I don’t see this second half on the coaches. Just guys doing dumb plays. It all started with Matthew hurt taking that solo ball 3

80% shooting to start the half.... mostly inside....time to change our look or try to uptempo pressure maybe....change the game

You have mostly freshman on the backend and no communication. The worst is actually hurt. If back doesn’t talk it all falls apart

I’d assume that most teams are going to be losing giving up like 25 points off turnovers. .

Isn’t it crazy that Joey baker is kinda good when he isn’t getting yanked every five seconds ... and then he turns it over lol

If you have guys still playing after seven months of this then you are not teaching....or teaching well...

a poor TO and a dunk....momentum killer. We just cant make consecutive good plays in a row on both ends consistently

Hurt is a sophomore Sharpe is a freshman Love is a freshman . So our fault on defense is no talking but yet there is five players on the court. That’s a cop out for saying,” I believe in talent more then team ball!” Hurt has always been a liability and in a game he should shine he has zero points because he’s a limited offensive player.
Weren’t hurt and the rest of the freshman burger boys? Duke is just not Duke

still in it...just need to be smarter with the ball....like not taking a contested step back 3 Hurt!...

I am not sure I have ever seen a Duke team that goes for the pump fake more than this team. Every time! LOL. Just doesn’t seem like a “basketball smart” set of players. Need some savvy.

On the flipside, I think I need to criticize Joey bakers shooting a bit more! All of a sudden he’s alive today!
