I have seen some bad games. But considering the talent and the competition, this might be the worst I have seen Duke play.
I think Duke is just so used to playing with 4 guards/stretch 4 not used the two big lineup
This. We need more facilitation from the bigs and they are just standing or cutting into the wrong place at the wrong time. They'll figure it out. Everyone is just hesitant because the timing is off.

As a Duke fan I'm disgusted with these refs even though the calls are in our favor..our perimeter d ought to be better with jones in the game...lol I'm sorry Jackson needs to run the point..we are terribly rusty shooting the ball With absolutely no chemistry on offense .K doesn't know if he wants to be a run and gun or half court team ..were just all out of rhythm. hey we do go to class though ! So...... I think we will be ok.
Just happy Giles is back !! Hope he can stay healthy! I'm sure we'll start off much better next game and end this one well..hey as bad as we played we're still up lmao thanks a lot to the refs imo honestly.

Exactly...Def was horrible...they made some tough drives...we had 3 or 4 close ones rim out and shot bad overall......been a long break against a good defensive minded team....my only knock is Bolden needs to play like he is BIG...move around and set some screens
The only thing good about the 1st half is that its over. Actually 2 good things, we can't possibly play any worse in the 2nd half.
A couple of things here. One, I think this game is a little bit of a 'Harry Hangover' effect...everyone has been waiting for this game. And two, putting the ball in the hole is the name of the game, and when you shoot this badly you're going to stink. Duke will be fine.

Shows how special Tyus, Jahlil and Justise were. Albeit the injuries have hampered this years team implementing the freshmen slowly and gelling but I can't in honesty say I'm more impressed with this years bunch. Me thinks things will change though for the better going forward.
The 38-1 UK team lead Columbia by three at halftime I remember. That team struggled with Columbia before pulling away. It happens! Even the best struggle sometimes
