He's a great bunter but that was about as bad of a bunt that we could have asked for in that situation. It worked but we really needed something to the right side of the field.

including Wes, I can understand the call. Wes K's or flies out or whatever- well then we still have a runner at second. Get the bunt down and then you have CT a left handed hitter with a runner on third and one out and all you need is a fly ball or a ball through the right side.

And yes, I am well aware that I'm breaking my personal rule. I guess that this proves that there are exceptions. But normally, yes- I stand by my rule.

he hasbeen seeing the ball well lately. He did draw two walks and then had the sac bunt. I'm well aware he didn't get a hit today. It's a 3-1 pitch, give him one chance to end the game.

On the other hand, Bradford had been in key situations throughout the evening and had done nothing, plus had looked horrible doing it. Anyone else it makes a little bit better sense. Slauter has been hitting the ball hard over the past two weeks, just right at people. It's funny that Slauter's weakest hit ball all night was the one that got the job done. Renfroe is a flyout specialist.

It's amazing that Cohen makes a call that helps win the game and he's still called a bad coach. When you only need one run to win the game its not a bad idea to get him to 3rd with only one out.

He struck out at least three times. He did have a good series against South Carolina, though.

When u only need one run, and there is something like 7 ways that you can score from 3rd that isn't possible from 2nd

And I was laughing in my living room watching this game and thinking about your thread when all of this was happening. Couldn't believe it.

This is a good example of putting pressure on a defense. Their pitcher got greedy and made a bad throw to third. He should have taken the out at first and walked the next two intentionally. That would have been good for us since Renfroe would have been the batter, and I feel pretty good about him getting a fly ball.
