Really seems that Harrell is hauling ***. Gameday for those of us on the west side will have a completely different feel.

Man, that is going to look really nice when it's completed. I can wait. I for one will be very proud of our stadium.

How is the west concourse coming along? Any pics on that?

I asked you in another thread but I don't think you saw it... How are we going to go about dealing with the elevation transition from the new endzone concourse to the east side concourse? Any idea? I know the west side was built up quite alot to match the height -- but the east side isn't being -- at least not in this phase.

Hey thanks for the update.

I tell you what....they are hauling in rebar and concrete like crazy. I was up there a few weeks ago.

I took some pictures Saturday and they have placed 6 pilings since then.

The west concourse is incredible...

I keep telling people you're not going to believe you're in the same stadium as before. It now feels like one huge long hallway with the vomitoriums on one side and concessions/bathrooms on the other. No more walking on asphalt that was poured with the lay of the ground.

As for how the north endzone will tie into the east side... I'm not really sure. If I'm back up there sometime soon I'll see what I can see.

I have an extremely short term memory when it comes to stuff like this so I'll apologize in advance, but aside from the significant change in elevation, what exactly is different about this picture and what existed previously? Is the hallway much wider that it was before? It's hard to remember when there's always a huge crowd of people there every time you're there.

All of the built in concession stands are on the outside wall, right? Were they like this before? I'm an east-sider, rarely make it to the west-side.

Will there be another section added on top or something behind the bowled in part? Seems like there's a lot of space in between the two upper decks if that's as high as it goes, don't get me wrong I LOVE the new additions I'm just wondering how they'll fill that huge amount of space above and behind it from upper deck to upper deck.

I really don't understand why they didn't go a little higher with the brick facade. It looks great but I don't think it's really going to be visible unless you are walking right under it. They should've gone to the top of the banners.

That's why this is only phase 1...

I won't lie. I thought he was referring to the old Templeton troughs

until I looked it up and discovered that "vomitorium" was a legitimate word

Good grief...this looks amazing. Do you guys remember how terrible this used to look? If you were even the slightest bit buzzed, the ground was so uneven that you could fall on your face. This looks great. I am beyond excited to see the finished product.

Really appreciate the pics Xeno

Vomitorium is a word used to describe the circulation tunnel that enters an arena. So instead of saying the players are coming out of the tunnel you could say vomitorium.
