showed NO ONE PLAYER on the offensehad anything better going on ??? I honestly dont understand how a true evaluation can come of this ... if he is so terrible why did Dan even sign him ? He obviously has some talent based on his high school performances ... and I totally agree with Karl ... we are going to continue to develope him and play him so stfu ...... in case nobody has noticed, Relf has maxed out his abilities

edited to add : this response was towards Todd

and he's way too 17ing cocky!! Nobody likes the little cocky kid that won't listen and thinks he should tweet "all I want is a chance". Well there was your chance now grab the clipboard like 99.9% of all other rfreshman have to do and trim your eyebrows Favre. Those things are hideous.

exposure ..... Do you think the sun rises and sets with Relf ? Relf has one tool and one tool only, and appearantly that has now been removed by most opposing defenses

I don't really care who plays qb. Russell, I don't think can do it. Relf, well you have seen it. Our offense is borderline pop warner or pee wee styleish. Relf has been playing scared, and ultra tenative, about like a true freshman. we can't block anyone up front. I mean, if your going to get beat 24-10 while throwing 2-3 int's and throwing ultra conservative 5 yard routes. Why not try to throw the ball down the field and go out guns blazing? You may get beat 35-7 or something, but what is the damn difference? We're too scared to even try.

His teammates love him AND his attitude. Go to a practice and watch. Went and watched the bowl game practices last year and whether they are on offense or defense, his teammates will follow his lead. Believe me, some of his teammates want him to have a chance too. They could care less about his height or his eyebrows...which by the way, are impressive.

... nobody has mentioned the fact that Favre was put in on some special teams and some defensive plays as well ... that tells me that Mullen recognizes his fire .... I think he's capable, and I know there's no substitute for expierience, and I know he's just not ready yet, and I know he's got no business tweeting, but I'm growing a little tired of the folks that are out there just hanging their heads. There are plenty of folks to bash that actually playif anyone is in the mood

Dylan was the last one off the field in the titty fight that took place prior to the game. He was all over a couple georgia players giving them a good word or two im sure. He was pushed away by a coach or other teammate i cant remember but I thought it was interesting that he was the last one off the field. Shows his aggression

Do you disagree that he was a good HS QB? Do you disagree that there's a difference between the level of play in the SEC and high school? Do you not see that there's a difference between LSU and Alabama and Lafayette and Jackson Prep?

Stewart Summers at Pearl is a good high school QB. He is not a SEC QB. Nick Schneeberger at Jackson Prep was also a good high school QB. Also not a SEC QB. There are TONS of guys that are good high school QB's- but they can't cut it in the SEC. Furthermore, there are guys that are good in high school at pretty much every position that can't cut it in the SEC. Heck, look at South Panola- how many of their all-world running backs have panned out in the SEC?

Micheal Jordan with the White Sox- funny you bring that up because he was actually a very good high school baseball player as well. That didn't mean he could play in MLB. He was kind of a sideshow act anyway as far as his baseball career is concerned.

As I have said before- I want Dylan to succeed because that is good for MSU. But I also call it like I see it- whether people agree with me or not. That's actually what sixpack is all about, or it should be anyway.

that I saw him play in high school?

Sorry- the "Well, maybe this guy didn't really see him play more than that one series card and he just got lucky with his opinion" card has already been played. No need to rehash that- if you want to see my comments, just look in this thread.

Why did Dan sign him? Because we had missed out on several other QB prospects such as Hutson Mason who is now at Georgia, and I believe Barry Brunetti who went to West Virginia. Yeah- that Barry Brunetti. I believe we also missed out on some guy named Cam Newton as well.

I'm sure we will continue to develop him, but I think Dak Prescott might have something to say about how much he plays. But we'll see.

And hey! I'm glad he "wants to play". That doesn't mean he should be our QB.

If he really wants to play QB at MSU, he should start by cutting down on his INT's in practice.
