No, no, I’m a 3rd generation Redskins/Commanders fan. My parents’ families are both from Washington, we were the only family to leave Washington. (Dad worked at General Electric across from Drexel, just above the Palestra.) I grew up in Bucks County but consider myself Washington born and bred, that’s what I tell people.Sometimes growing up in a certain area makes a person not like the local team.
Agreed…no one looks unbeatable. I just said the NFC because we were discussing the Eagles. There aren’t many SB contenders in the NFC? I’d say there are more than the AFC.
I was speaking more from personal experience. No, no, I’m a 4th generation Redskins/Commanders fan. My parents’ families are both from Washington, we were the only family to leave Washington. I have told the board many times that I have lived a charmed life and I have. Where else could I have taught and thrived other than at Gallaudet? And in my home town, how incredibly lucky is that? My cousins have stuck around DMV and are tremendous people, we’re very close and supportive of each other, a great, amazing blessing.
My grandfather played on the last Catholic University team to beat Maryland in football, 1915. I’ve told this story many times here but what the hell, says a lot about who I am, imo.
That fail wasn’t on Patullo. Hurts couldn’t hit a wide open crossing pattern that would have been a TD.
Lol, same exact thought. Why? You see that a lot, if you stop to think about it. I guess the working theory is that since there’s no possibility of a pass over the back line, more D will be in the box.Not sure why Chicago gets away from the run at all at this point.
It seems that the Eagles could have 11 in the box and wouldn’t be able to stop them.Lol, same exact thought. Why? You see that a lot, if you stop to think about it. I guess the working theory is that since there’s no possibility of a pass over the back line, more D will be in the box.
Yeah, Chicago was running well. Lemme check their ypc. 6.9 on 19 carries. Oof.It seems that the Eagles could have 11 in the box and wouldn’t be able to stop them.
I have been unable to find stats on three-and-outs but did discover that Philadelphia has scored on 34% of their drives, 27/32 in the league. Colts are tops, 54%.Fully one third of the Eagles drives have been three-and-outs. Oof. I did not know that.
Oh please Nick loses the team every week for the last 4yrsI think Nick has lost this team. They look rudderless out there.
I don’t think he’s lost the team, but I do think he hired a poor OC.Oh please Nick loses the team every week for the last 4yrs
