Is there a movement to go all in? Who is leading that? Who are they targeting? Or we just hoping enough people decide to give a little more to the Bulldog Initiative for some more walking around money? If it's the latter, then we need a new president, AD, HC and on because we are simply going through the motions of a modern AD.

I want to see football treated with the same respect as baseball.

Showing respect for baseball costs about 80% less than football. That's a big reason why we can do it.

Plus, State Baseball makes people happy.

I used to be a season ticket holder many years ago and made the reluctant decision that it wasn’t cost effective for someone who lived three hours away and also had higher priorities.

And I don’t begrudge MSU Athletics their opportunity to further invest in and monetize baseball. It’s not a cash cow but it’s by far the best gameday experience of any of its sports.

I like Baseball too, but on the grand scheme of MSU Athletics it needs to be a very distant 3rd in resources and emphasis.

As far as I’m aware, it is third in resources but second in emphasis…

People are happy at baseball games. I’m not the best person to speak further about that so I’ll drop this video here…

the baseball v football myth is as wrong as the faculty/staff myth.

More State fans spend more money on football than baseball. Look at the number of luxury seating options for football v baseball. The cost of a season ticket. The number of people that show up for a bad football Product v a competitive bseball product.

There is no argument against what you are saying as far as spent money and available seating options are concerned.

But is MSU football fun?

No, it’s not fun.

On the other hand, Baseball is fun.

More importantly, a lot of people want to be entertained and be happy— and football does not do either of those things.

So that means some additional money goes to baseball.
