Which course is playing better these days?

I can’t speak for Live Oaks, but Eagle Ridges greens are absolutely awful at the moment.

I haven't played Eagle Ridge in 10-12 years, but it was horrible then. I played in the fundraiser for the Kent Hull Foundation at Live Oaks 3-4 years ago and it was alright

I’ve only played 3 local muni courses so far but all 3 had completely dead greens. I guess that hellacious freeze Christmas before last followed by that crazy drought last year wiped them out.

Live Oaks is a goat ranch. Played there last fall for a fundraiser and they have no irrigation system. There is little to no grass in the course and zero money being spent on upkeep, maintenance or improvements.
