Is how incredibly important this game is to us, and meaningless it is to them. Plus, Arkansas is atrocious away, just picking up their first road win last week, in the middle of a 3 game home losing streak. UPig has only had 2 games decided by 6 points are more this entire year, less than the number of OT games we've had in in the last month. And we are pretty good at home. I'm thinking that if we can manage to get a big lead, we might be able to keep it for once. No 2 teams have more lopsided home/away performances.

Our Bama beatdown may have been bad, but keep in mind these Arkansas losing margins:

@UK: 23
@UGA: 22
@UT: 19
UF: 30

FWIW, Arkansas has lost 11 straight in the Hump.

So, basically, I don't think we're 9+ points better than they are, but I think that whoever wins, will win by that much. It's just how games with Arkansas are.

When Alabama made their Elite Eight run in 2003-2004, they were 17-12 and 8-8 in the league. When we win today, we will be 21-10 and 8-8 in the league. If we somehow start playing like we are capable of and get the right matchups in the tournament, we could do the same thing. Personally, I think we take care of business today and beat a hapless Georgia team (as we will be focused and determined to avenge the loss) and more then likely will play Florida or Vandy in the second round. That IMO gets us in hopefully as a 10 or 11 seed. I don't think anyone wants to face us as that high a seed. I hope we do face Murry State in the first round. That to me would be a very good regional for us to be in to make a run.

A) Making shots so that they can set up their full court press, B) how much the refs let them get away with fouls, C) how much the crowd is behind them. Since they are on the road, a goes out the window as they have no inside game and are very inconsistant from the 3 point line. Refs don't let them get away with karate chopping away from the bud so that goes out the window. And c also goes out the window for obvious reasons. They don't win on the road especially this year as refs tend to favor home teams. With that said since refs tend to favor home teams, that is why they are equally as unbeatable at home. Personally, I think we hold a double digit lead for most of the game and are able to hold on late for a 75-70 win to send out Bost and Bryant on a senior day win.
