Non-conference play is done. Now to on to conference schedule this coming Friday night @ the home of the Whiteville Wolfpack. Should be a good ballgame between the Eagles and the Pack.

I was really impressed with the Eagles defense tonight and your offense was enough to overpower the smaller, inexperienced scorpions. I also went to the Fairmont game today because I'm a football junkie and they should be no match against your defense but they do seem to score on big plays if you don't pressure the QB. The game against South Columbus should decide the conference title.

East just pounded North into submission last night. Long drives for East, eating up a bunch of clock in doing so. EB was very physical on both sides of the ball. TOP was 35 to 13 in favor of East. Total yardage was 387 to 83. Good work in all 3 phases for East.
I will say North's punter is one of the best I've seen in awhile. He boomed 2 or 3 of over 50 yards.

3 team chase for title. EB,Whiteville,SC
SR,WC,EC are not even a factor in conf. play.
SR is pitiful so is WC. Not seen EC in person yet. Saw SP scrimmage but did not look very good other than QB. Low numbers are killing the 1A teams in conf.

Where does Red Springs factor in? Are they a sleeper that could knock off any of the 3 top teams?
