Really good running back and D-1 wide receiver. Very athletic as evidenced by their victory earlier this season against Northeastern

Naw but it will be a good game Hertford might lose this one but I don't know they defense is good it will be close
Looks like they can throw the ball pretty well. Average 180 YPG... and all of their losses came while Star tailback Kyeem Perry was out.
Judging from box scores their defense does not appear to be very good. They've allowed more points the last three games than we've surrendered all year.
If this game is close it will be because their offense finds ways to poke holes in the best defense they've seen. (5.2 ppg, 7 shutouts)

i knew our defensive numbers were very good, but i didnt know they were quite that good. however, all it takes is one bad night, so we better come ready to play from here on out. there are no bad teams left at this point. everybody is capable of winning.
This will likely be the best offense we have faced thus far... should be interesting to see if they are capable of sustaining enough drives to win the game.

Actually I was quite complimentary of Hertford Co. Even stated that they would be the best offensive team we've played to this point. And, yes, I am quite sure that this will be the best defense HC has played to this point.

No one has claimed that hc would be held to 5 pts that is a stat to measure a defense by just like total yards pg for offense and if you think you have played a tougher defense that is an opinion on both sides but these are facts. Your offense will score but not every possession score or not we will have a chance to score and we will not everytime we have the ball but there will be a lot less time left for you to score so the only thing that is really important to the outcome is how often you give it back without scoring We Feel we can hang the Outcome on the shoulders Of our Defense wish all safe Travels next Friday And good Luck

Actually my team will be playing the 3rd round at home as a host team... I was merlely speaking for HC as a conference member and I feel they have totally played a better defense, but as you have so genuinely stated that is just an opinion... So
The best part of playoffs is playing new teams the bad as fans is you only have stats to go by they have not played a team with the stats like ed stats only mean if everyone plays there average game hopefully both teams play to their potential stat wise ed has not played a team as balanced as they are all ed fans know that and are anxious to see how our defense handles a truly balance team
although i am complimentary of Hertford County, make no mistake about, if my East Duplin squad plays well i fully expect us to win. there is a reason our defense has posted such impressive numbers this year. its because we have been very good, and very fast on defense. also, my boy EDPanther99 never said , as the other poster said, that East Duplin would hold Hertford County to 5 or so points. he simply stated that 5.2 pts given up per game is our average, and that Hertford County's defensive numbers have been far less than impressive. i think anybody would have to admit that. they may have a very good offense but they still have to be able to stop somebody. i expect this to be a competitive game, but if we execute and play well, i expect us to win. but ultimately none of our opinions matter. Friday night it will be decided on the field. its time to put up or shut up.
All the numbers mean nothing at this time. A few turnovers or big plays and your season is over.
ED by whatever! HC hasn't played the schedule ED has and still has a worse record. ED will wear them down by the 3rd quarter
Comparing SWO to East Duplin this year???.......East Duplin is a very good team.....ill take the Panthers by 2-3 TDs
Man you have been drinking your own cool-aid the only two good top teams you played this year were Wallace-Rose Hill and Northside-Jax don't go by your schedule look at Hertford County schedule and who they played and beat.
