Why would I hope for EL? We're Shelby, we have athletes galore, and fear no one. I just have that much respect for East Lincoln Coach Byus, especially this point of the season.
I know, right? It's so bad for this guy that he's started a college football thread, the lone Thomasville poster left. You'd think he'd be gone fishing with the rest of the Thomasville faithful.

It's all good, bruh. You were entitled to your opinion, however. We just like messin' with people sometime, though, stirring the pot. It keeps things interesting, gives the board balance.
Trust and believe ...its true if a lion can sense the fear in the air they will exploit it to the fullest on these boards.... Lol...all in fun mostly

It looks like a rotor of sorts. Please understand, my eyes are not very good even with glasses but I was curious. We're still here, LA. And very aware of the state of the program. Most of us just don't often feel the need to chime in on a thread that has nothing to do with our program, unless it's to give one props. As we have often done to Shelby.
Seems to me that there's plenty to stir the pot without having to take cheap shots, but so be it. When you've been on top for so long, you expect it when you fall. Ebb and flow. It eventually happens to us all.
You're absolutely correct, but go back to my initial response, I threw no cheap shots, none. I did throw one in there after the fact, in reference to your exodus from the playoffs, not the program as a whole, because you're right, thin years are inevitable, there's always a fall off.

Your boys know what kind of athletes that'd face in Shelby. I know it was 7 on 7, but they ran their mouths, and got blasted, I mean blasted off the field.
Yeah, we have to handle business versus Huss, and I seriously have East Lincoln beating y'all. Y'all are fast and athletic, but you're a small team. Your best D lineman only weighs 170 lbs.

Simmons has Monroe with the #4 toughest schedule and Shelby #6. That's basically identical out of almost 100 teams in 2a. So pretty close if you ask me with a different overall record.

My point was, even in that setting, they saw our athletes at the skills positions. They know, in the event both teams advance and face each other, we're one team they simply won't out athlete and vice versa.

There was never any interaction between Shelby and ED posters until recently, a Shelby poster asked who they were in a thread, and it was legitimate, he wasn't trying to be funny or anything. He had never heard of them and went to Maxpreps to look them up, and they were butt hurt by that.
