For those of you who have bought Club Level seats in the past, what is the approximate rank required to have a good shot at getting some seats? I.e., for those of you who have been able to order Club Level seats in the past, what is your Bulldog Club rank?

I'm a first year member (graduated in '11) and want to secure Club Level seats on the East Side this year. I see that the pledge required is $1,750 per seat. Is 10k enough this year for two seats?

Thanks in advance

If it helps, I currently have a rank of 2169. According to the calculator, if I were to give 10k this year, it would bump me up to 1235. Is that high enough to secure seats?

If you're willing to fork over $10 k this year you might want to think about doing the today tomorrow forever deal.

You pledge $25k over the course of 5 years. Sign up for that and you get to pick ahead if any other bdc member.

It's entirely possible that I won't live close enough to Starkville after this next football season to be able to make any games past 2014. That is why I'm hesitant in going that route.

Ship me the money, I'll donate it. You can have the club seats this year and I'll use them after that. Everyone wins.

Well then you might as well forget it. East Side CL seats require a $12.5k commitment to that fund for each seat.
As far as the rank goes, any year prior to this, I'd tell you that you need to be well under the 1,000 mark to have a shot at CL seats. Who knows how it will be this year, though.

Stephen at the Bulldog Club told me yesterday that the Capital Contribution for $12.5k/seat/5 years is no longer a requirement.

Well below the 1,000 mark? Well then I hope a lot of people move to the north endzone.

Damn. What kind of job did you get out of college to be throwing around that kind of paper?

Not straight out of college, unfortunately. I wasted two years in law school before figuring out that's not what I wanted to do.

But primarily I'm in the digital media space in addition to being an exec for a start up apparel company.

Happy to be able to support MSU.

I'd get that in writing. I know it's now applicable to the remaining endzone seating that didn't sell, but I'd be surprised if it is for the East Side CL. Certainly that would have a likelihood of pissing some people off who have had to pay it over the last few years.

There is at least a small exodus going on, but I don't know what the end result will be. If the TTF fee really has been waived, that changes things, but you still have the can't-add-seats clause in your favor.

It's my understanding that if you're presently (last year) in Club Level, you get to stay in Club Level with the same number of seats you had. Nobody can kick you out. But, you will be reseated based on BDC priority within that group. I further understand that present Club Level "members" will be reseated first, then other new members.

If you're trying to get seats there for the first time, I suspect that you'd be down around the goal line if you can get seats at all. And those seats aren't bad ... I was just about on the goal line when I was there when it first opened about 10-12 years ago. I suppose it's possible that some who had seats last year might move to the new end zone and that would open up some seats, but I can't imagine why.
