Should be a good game. About as close to a 50/50 game you are going to get in High School football.

20-8 ES final. Hounds played the game shorthanded. Leftwich didn't dress. Best LB and best DL didn't play and to top it off QB left early in the 2nd quarter with a concussion.

these two programs have played great games the last 3 years - 2023 Hounds win conf with a win over east, cards win conf last year with a 3 pt win over North, and this one came down to the last 6 min with east getting a red zone stop and driving length of field to cap it off - NS was short handed and played inspired for 4 qtrs, East done what it had to do. Good high school football game.

One thing that has been consistent for East Surry is their offensive line. They are not the biggest but they have guys that are 270 - 280 that can move. Their not slow lumbering guys
