As I have told one of the rare orange/blue posters on here, if they won next 15 in a row the series would still be in favor of ER.

They will never live that down dropping ER that year. Never, does not matter what happens.
And the 84-0 could have been 150-0 if ER had wanted it to be. ER ran the same play up the middle over and over, and to this day I don’t even know who that one kid was scoring. I had a relative on Randleman for his senior night. It was awful. Wish there would have been a running clock back then.
ER by 20. Force Randleman to throw the ball and put 11 in the box.

We do not waste good effort and energy on the lowly noncompetitive schools of the county. 7 to 0 is sufficient as we are moving on to bigger and brighter horizons.
Randleman still has a shot at the playoffs and it’s senior night. I expect them to play extremely hard.

Announcement to all Eastern Randolph fans: Mt Airy is NOT going to play any playoff games. The coaching staff and administration has decided since there is NO WAY Mt Airy can beat ER that they will just call it a season, get in the weight room and start preparing for next season.

I asked a well respected coach today how good he thought Mt Airy truly was. His reaction, after the give me your honest thoughts, was they are good, period, full stop. How good depends on a couple of things; how good are the western teams; are they all down a little this year and battling each other on a 6 to 7 level; or are all of them at the same 8-9 level and battling it out at that level.
My take away is Mt Airy gets to Western final if the west are at the 6 to 7 level; they might struggle at the 8-9 level because they are sophomore heavy. But in either case he thought their skill level and speed was much better.
Again, that is my take away of what he said and, of course, it is opinion.

. Don’t get mad, just couldn’t help myself. Good luck the rest of the way.All joking aside, yes Eastern Randolph should win this game. They have played a tougher schedule. Common opponents scores are heavily in favor of the Cats. ER is bigger, stronger, faster and deeper than orange/blue team...
But...
As my friend Chute likes to say the game is at the roundabouts. Orange/blue has been THE team in PAC7 for quite awhile. Their home field advantage is real.
But...
There was a late October game not that far back when orange/blue decided to throw out of own end zone in tie game with around a minute left. The result: tipped INT that led to last second FG and win for the good guys...
That was a good night...
Multiple roundabouts should be against the law. And that ain’t kidding.

Eastern Randolph jayvees 14-6 to beat an unbeaten Randleman team to win the conference title. Both teams played extremely hard both teams are so well coached. Great to see two young teams with so good of fundamentals
