This was a game that the one who wanted to win it the most won. EV pounded it out and the Chargers were hit and miss. And miss they did. I counted at least 5 passes through the hands of receivers. One would have forced a second OT. The QB wasn't off! Bottom line: EV wanted to win the game more than the Chargers and thats the way it ended.

It took an hour and 40 minutes to play the first half! Many games were being reported in the third quarter and we were still in the second. This officiating crew offered no leeway what so ever. Just about every other play for the entire first half was a penalty and many times multiples! The refs had to meet and discuss each one and it drug on and on and on .... The second half went a little quicker but not much.

The good: EV has a tough offensive line. All big and it appears they have extras. A big plus for a 4A team. Chancellor needed a wake up call and they got it!

The bad: Chancellor needed a wake up call and they got it. The Chargers have tons of talent and EV gave them many opportunities. You cannot let them slip by! Good teams will not give you very many and you will only be able to make so many!

That was a great game. Ups and downs all through out. EV started slow and gave 14 points up off of picks. But the Defense held that very talented offense to just 17 points including only 3 in the second half. I usually don't care too much for all the penalties, but this crew had most if not all of them right. Not sure about the pass interference. You are right about the O line, love their toughness and of course their size. Both teams had some drops and giveaways. I'm excited for this program. Every year they get better. Soon enough people will realize they are not just a few kids but a developing program. Only 8/9 yrs old. Proud of those kids and coaches!

Chancellor looks like a good team, but they had better get that defense together before the playoffs. Tough to win a title giving up the points they have the last two weeks (admittedly against very good teams, but still...).

I'm going to assume you were at the game. I only saw 2 non-contested dropped ball, but what I did see was a very athletic EV team stopping them over and over again. Pre the game some of you had them dropping 62 on us and saying EV didn't have the atheletes to keep up (Shaunty, OC boy: crow is best served any way). EV's defense gave up 17 points and it could have been 10 (that first TD should have been a pick, DB just froze but it was not a well thrown ball). EV has a very good O line (Some size? A combined 1450lbs+ and the length to go with it) and what looks like a very good defense. This wasn't a perfect game, but it's only game three. The QB will get better, his first big game. He is a competitor for staying focused and helping the team win. Chancellor's off night was more to do with the team they were playing and the scheme they put in place. Chancellor has 4-6 Div 1 football players, they don't just have off nights. Say it with me, EV is a good football team!

For all those that like to gloat, yes, I was completely wrong about this game. Bottom line comes as EV is a good team and Chancellor may have some tremendous players but the t.erm "sloppy" continues to haunt the Chargers. Certainly, EV helped it look that way. Have to give due respect.

I don't yet know if this is an aberration or not. For each team. I'd like to see what happens to the Cyclones against the Warriors next.

I saw the full EV tape against Orange and thought EV's defense was good, but that their offense won't do well against good defenses. Their passing was non existent, the QB was not good. Sherando plays defense and should be able to contain EV's running game, and Sherando's secondary are mostly returning starting seniors. There might be more interceptions coming for EV.

I was at the massaponax chancellor game and the team that I saw that day would of beat EV without question. Yes the team I seen last night I was not impressed with. I'm not sure what was going on with chancellor last night but that wasn't the team that played last week. And for the record I'm not impressed with EV either. They did what they were suppose to against Spotsy and Orange. They pulled one out over chancellor because they pulled Russell out the game, that there played a huge roll in the EV win. Like chancellor fan said EV wanted it more that summed up last nights game. Lastly if you call it poking don't get upset when I poke back....

I think massaponax chancellor got into a shootout because it is considered a rivalry game and anything can happen in those games. Perhaps EV defense is better but a few more games will have to be seen for that to be told
