i didnt say "scott thinks up these uni ideas" so i have no idea were you got that impression, but if you think he doesnt have a hand in this, and a hand in the a&m look-alikes, you are kidding yourself. tennessee, ucla, and a myriad other adidas teams have no problem not downgrading their unis. scott is an image guy and all about marketing. that is undeniable. scott says to adidas, we want new unis, and some monkey in some design back room apparently smears **** on a canvas and adidas tries to make a uni based off the design monkeys "painting", adidas comes to scott and says, "here, wear these" and we do. thats how i think it works.
I'd say that's an "EarlyBird" filter on an Instagram photo of a 'Golden' helmet w white face mask/emblem, surrounded by maroon/white pompoms sitting on a display table at a weekend event of potential-future recruits.
I can`t believe none of you have mentioned recruits loving this silly crap. If we keep these gimmicks coming I`m positive we`ll completely wipe TSUN off the map in recruiting pretty soon.

Here is my take on it...
Cadaver I generally agree with most that you post but I disagree a bit here. Not that these are gonna hurt us but I no longer buy the argument that these will help us. Those Snow Bowl unis looked great but when you get curb stomped by the opponent, they really mean nothing. Same goes for last year's Egg Bowl. I don't think we've seen any bump in recruiting from these efforts, and I'm fairly confident we won't in the future.
I'm not freaking out about this and I'm not really complaining... I just think people just simply are not excited about the gimmick uniforms anymore until they prove that they will create some W's.

Surely we learned our lesson from doing this BS last year. If we win we look silly and if we lose we look even more silly. Just go out and play football.
