So, some gold trim on a uniform is the tackiest thing ever. I bet she thinks a nice gold charger to go underneath your bone china at a tailgate is much more appropriate. How many underprivileged scholarships could be covered by re-focusing the cash spent on that high class kabuki theater that goes on at the groooooooooove every weekend? Interesting that she thinks we're taking money out of the general university funds or something. It's up there with our fans posting about this convinced "we're spending too much time focused on THIS DISTRACTION and not enough on beating Bama!!!!" Like Striklin busted into Mullen's office and told him "stop breaking down game film, and help me decide on a uniform option."
edit: I couldn't help myself. Just checked out the SDS Facebook post about the unis. Amanda's comment wouldn't even crack the top 10 of dumbest things said about them.

Amanda, the fact that you didn't like the unis is specifically why we selected them. There's no "classy" Bonus clause in Mullin's contract - only one for kicking UM's ***. Get used to both.
Curious. Why silver over gold? I do think they both could work, but I'm starting to think that gold and maroon accent each other much better now.
