We are both going to a bowl this year. Let's up the ante and make the game "really" count. Thoughts? Would you want a game with that on the line? Much like Bama @ Auburn, I would not like playing in Starkville.

While the win would be a 100x's better than any Egg Bowl win in history, a loss would be a 1000x's worse. I just don't know that my liver could take either.

Yeah, not only did Bama lose the rivalry game and their own shot at the national title, but they also in one fell swoop put their rival into legitimate national championship contention. That would be a tough pill to swallow.

Great games today, but...

I grew up watching Nebraska and Oklahoma playing on Thanksgiving Day.(I'm old) It was usually #1 vs #2 with everything on the line. Screw Texas and the Big XII for totally "SEVENTEENING" that game.

My 6yr old niece wears a State cheerleader outfit and sits on my lap during the Egg Bowl. If I can refrain from calling the little ***** a "Little *****", during her victory dance the other night, anybody can find perspective.

The last and only time there was an Egg Bowl where the winner won the SEC, the US entered WWII. I don't like the precedent.
