been a college basketball coach.

(This according to this website: http://www.bracketography.com/selection-committee/)

If this site is to be believed, TWO (including the lone female member) have held college basketball head coaching jobs, whilea thirdserved as an assistant basketball coach in college. The remaining SEVEN have NO college basketball experience.

Regardless of whether MSU made the tourney this year, 10 years ago, or the next 60 years in a row... If this info is true, then it's ridiculous (the NCAA way) to have such a dearth of college basketball experience on that committee !!!

I'd never really thought much about it until someone posted it earlier, but I really like Bobby Knight's suggestion that the committee be made up entirely of former coaches. And this has nothing to do with whether we should or shouldn't been because if we'd taken care of business against teams we had no business losing to we'd be in anyway. Why wouldn't the NCAA want to have people who know college basketball better than anyone else selecting and seeding teams for the tournament.

you should have been in most likely, but it's not one of the bigger screw jobs in recent history. Just look at your last two regular season games.
