Since there has been discussion on ways to improve recruiting.... Hide this gober. For the love of Bully, I wish another site would bury him. So he isn't out contacting recruits.

It's worse than that--have you read the rant there about the UCLA conspiracy to embarrass Mullen? I can copy and paste (if that is allowed on this board). Borderline insanity. Makes me think the tweets aren't hacked, because this is just as nuts.

Rumor at the Senior Bowl where UCLA had 3 players participating was that UCLA made a verbal offer for NIX to visit knowing that Mullen would question the visit. UCLA does not officially acknowledge that Nix was offered a visit on their message board, but some
donors close to the program got on to the rumor and questioned 8 lineman being offered. Speculation suggests it was a bogus offer to embarrass Mullen, and State, knowing that Mullen would smell a rat.
It will now be interesting to see if Nix visits UCLA at this late date in the recruiting process and if Nix will admit when and by whom the offer was made. Nix was never listed as being recruited by UCLA previously. Questionable coaching ethics comes to mind in this case for more than just the two schools reportedly involved

have any interest in embarrassing Mullen? That's seems a stretch as I don't see any connection between our coaching staff and UCLA's. Isn't that where Jim Mora Jr is?

Gene has confirmed his account was not hacked. It was him and both tweets have accomplished their mission, i.e., get folks talking about Gene. He is losing members left and right, especially to 247, and needs to turn it around. As they say, any publicity is good publicity. If he doesn't have anything positive to say, might as well get the old name out there.
