Through most of the game UL played as good as they possibly could. Kentucky played about 30% of potential. Losuville is 18-40 against UK. It’s a blood bath. We can’t win them all. Louisville is trash, no name program who has no following. We’ve won 40 of 58, that’s about as good as it gets. Can’t win them all.
Agree that UL is trash. I would argue that they played well in the stretch you mention because of our horrible defense and general lack of talent. We can agree to disagree, we want the same outcome in the end.

I didn't say that, so don't twist my word like a Democrat. He said he out coach Pope and I don't think he did. I think the issue was executing. They passed better so they had more assist and they took care of the ball better both of those Things are on the players. No I don't think Pope coached his best game, but kelsey didn't either.
I agree that it's not the coaches -- it's the talent. You don't need to coach Mikel Brown doing 5 star things. You don't need to coach that guy from Xavier that shoots 3s (forget his name) just bullying our overpaid wire-thin PG.

We will see if it comes back to bite him by missing the final 4
There’s a few players the year I would have saved money on and a few I would open the checkbook for but I’m not the coach so we will see.

Everyine questioning UK’s talent and saying UL is stacked are on the cliff or something. A barely top 25 ranked Kansas beat this UL squad. This wasn’t a talent deficiency, this was an execution and wrong game plan problem. Pope should have slowed it way down in the first half and weathered UL riding on emotions. Letting them get 3 after 3 and turnover after turnover gave UL confidence.
