Sorry if this has been brought up already but wtf were they trying to accomplish at the end of the 1st half other than have the clock run out on them? If Ozigbo doesn't accidentally step out they end up with zero points. It's like they just can't help themselves when it comes to pissing away opportunities. It didn't effect the outcome either way but still stupid.

Never fear. Dude won a trophy in Canada 20 years ago. It’s all in a thread somewhere down the page.

Can’t manage a clock or have the right back on the field to catch a swing pass, though.

Ozigbo was who everybody screamed for after he served his 2 games to start the year. Bryant and Wilbon were out. Not defending anything, but Ozigbo is exactly what the masses demanded.

He had zero career catches. He was put into a bad situation on that play. That particular pick 6 is 100% on the coaching staff.

I like to support the coaches, but man have there been some weird play calls at the end of 1st half & end of game situations. We got lucky on that one.

I said to the guy sitting next to me in the stands, when there were just six seconds left "time for the field goal unit". I was dumbfounded when they lined up to run a play, and was even more dumbfounded with the sheer stupidity of its execution. We were lucky there.

That play right there is the poster child play for why this staff has to go.

Seems to be two different plays people are talking about.

The one where the INT occurred was a bad throw. I see what Tanner was trying to do and yes OZ has caught passes before. Tanner just does not throw the out passes well, often throws behind the runner. Doesn't lead them. Question the call as well but execution was horrible.

The second was the last play before half. Tanner has to know in your head you go 1, 2, 3, get the ball out and it has to be in the end zone. We don't have the tall receivers to run fads and OZ was merely a placeholder to keep the LB's up and Tanner paniced and threw to him on the sideline.

It was painful to watch for s lot if reasons.

Even that play is ok IF they move their asses after the play and either have another play ready to go or clock it. Time was more precious than downs then. Former NFL coach should know that.
Poor situational awareness. Got lucky. This team is poorly coached.
Bingo.

Yep one play that helps sum up why a coach with all that experience just doesnt have it. If after all this time he/they dont have it, they never will.

Ozigbo needed to not hand the ball off directly to the ref after the prior play. The clock starts as soon as the refs set the ball. Don't make it easy for them to set it.
