Won't happen, We may score 10 on the Vandy D the coaches will be proud.
Towles wouldn't be great with a great OL either. Check his INTs today - great protection. As a PT supporter, I think you have to look at Drew.
As i have said all year PT doesnt do well under pressure and that is why I have been all over the oline all season.
Add the drops to the sacks and the pressure, PT lacks the intangibles to overcome these.
Give him a great oline he would be a top QB, but we dont have even an average one.
As we saw the WR's will drop Drew's passes as well and the oline will NOT get better for him either, but he did get the ball out quick.
PT needs to watch from the sidelines and hopefully get over the PTSD he currently is suffering from.
Good point just got over excited....we may score 3 if our D gets a TO inside the 20That would be one more than Florida scored.
Dore's defense looked extremely good Gators escape the nightmare upset 9-7
Really? PTSD?As a PT supporter, I think you have to look at Drew.

He is just not that good. He could have 5 minutes in the pocket, and it doesn't matter. His accuracy is suspect. Thats the real problem. Oline is just an excuse.
I've been a supporter of Towles but I'm done after today. The kid just hasn't progressed the way I had hoped. I wish him the best moving forward but this team needs to turn this thing over to Barker. Maybe a change will give the offense a shot in the arm that it desperately needs.
Haircut...maybe that will work pretty boy
Since the LSU game last year, Towles is 4-11 as the starter (with two of those wins being nail-bitters against Lafayette and EKU). He's thrown 13 TDs and 17 interceptions. He's completed only 55 percent of his passes.
He's been given the opportunity. He's done nothing with it. He's regressed from where he was at the start of last season. No other major conference team in the country would give a QB with such poor results such a long leash - especially when they have a highly-recruited guy waiting in the wings.
If Stoops isn't careful, his loyalty/stubbornness is going to cause him to lose a huge segment of the fanbase. That's not something a guy with his win/loss record can afford at this point.
It should be, but don't hold your breath.
Towles is horrendous. In 7 SEC games he's thrown for 1,424 yards, 3 TD and 9 INT...but this staff is inexplicably totally infatuated with him.
this could say a lot more about Barker than it does Towles.I'm telling you guys, i watched barker all through high school, and he just isnt good enough to play here IMO.It should be, but don't hold your breath.

It's time to sit him. He's got an awful line but he had good protection at times today and did terrible. Elite quarterbacks don't need great o lines and great receivers to look decent, which pat has not looked overall this season. Elite qbs don't come in danger of losing their job to redshirt freshmen with the season hanging in the balance. The definition of a drop on these boards has morphed into an NFL-ish standard. There are bad drops, to be sure, but it happens to every single team.
Gotta be honest. The two times I saw him so far, I have not seen much arm strength. I just figured he might be a Dusty Bonner type but who wouldn't trade for Dusty Bonner right now.this could say a lot more about Barker than it does Towles.I'm telling you guys, i watched barker all through high school, and he just isnt good enough to play here IMO.
He has really lost it in the noggin. But our drops are pretty bad, no sugar coating those.

There have been a lot of bad ones but I think the definition of a "drop" now is anything thrown in the receivers general direction with regardless of coverage. There were a couple today that fit that description that people chalked up to receivers "dropping". For instance the baker "drop" I believe in the 3rd quarter...thrown at his shoe strings with a guy all over him. That's an nfl drop, not a college drop, and pat doesn't get a pass for that one.
Also a good point. There are drops, then there are tough catches that need to be made. Most of Baker's "drops" fall in the latter category.
Screenshot Bakers drops and you will see how many are actually really bad drops.
We have had the fewest circus/toughest catches in the league.
