Rev share which is paid by the university to the sport is controlled by the coach and yes bonuses and incentives can be included.

“NIL revenue share” isn’t a thing. And he knows it. He’s finding ways to twist words so he can backtrack.

I indicated people are loose with dIfferent aspects of the House Settlement governing NIL and confused about the rules that apply to each.

Revenue sharing is a direct result of the House settlement regarding NIL.

Like athletic scholarships before them, to receive a portion of the revenue sharing, an athlete must have a rostered position.

Yes, I will believe the source materials I've read over hearsay.

It isn’t hearsay. It was a comment made on the record.

Take. The. L. 😂

Apparently if you are a state champ who tried to wrestle at Iowa but couldn't make the lineup and you transfer to D2,D3 or NAIA you are subject to being called weak or a quitter if you question the cult or its leader.

Iowa wrestling might be inching closer to Scientology than Penn State.
Most any cult is that way

I’m not sure airing details of an athlete’s departure from the team is in anyone’s best interest, even if fans REALLY want to know what happened. That could just cause the situation to go public and draw out the drama.
Theres never anything wrong with just the truth.

Time for a change. Beth should sit down Tom and say if you don’t hire Spencer Lee and take your pick of someone else whether from Iowa or not, as your two assistants other than Terry, then you are gone.
Until Spencer decides he is done competing and wants to be a coach - he is not an option. And he won't be cutting his competitive career short to be an assistant. No chance.

This is generally always the case but it's also what drives message boards and other forms of social media. Speculation and the opportunity to ***** and moan about something you really don't have any real right to know about.

Theres never anything wrong with just the truth.
1) Truth as the relevant unbiased facts surrounding the action?

2) Truth as Tom's take on what transpired, including rationale for his actions?

3)Truth as Mo's take on what transpired, including rationale for his action?

Probably takes three different people (independent investigator, Tom, and Mo) to fully understand. And even then, reasonable people might disagree on what was appropriate, based on different value systems, so what'd be the point.

That is true. The broader issue is "The Boy Who Cried Wolf Syndrome," in which Brands never shares any info, whether it's truly warranted or not, to a degree unlike any other head coach.

We just came off of the Bo Bassett incident, where his supposed quote to the Bassetts was, "Nobody tells me how to run my program." Maybe that was his integrity speaking, as some claim, or maybe it was his hard-headed ego speaking.

And then there was the Gabe Arnold incident, where he was dismissed from the team, then mysteriously he was back on without another word from anyone.

So without additional info, at minimum, I'm inclined to believe that (a) Tom is hot-headed; (b) Tom is erratic; (c) Tom is secretive. And quite possibly, even likely, (d) in the absence of other info, points a, b, and c had something to do with this latest drama.

I want a mentally stable coach who can compete for titles. That ain't the vibe I'm getting.
