In Barr's "Off the Mat" interval, when speaking about moving up from 184 to 197, he said they don't do nutrition, per se. He said it was all about eating and lifting. He said that the ice cream was great and Kasak cow really helped.
Well that sort of said in gest. They don't leave any stone unturned at that school in regards to training .
It's a way different university in regards to what's available to your average student, club athlete which I was, or varsity athlete these days.
What you said is true though, the simple way to gain weight is to lift heavy and properly and take more quality calories. And honestly in all natural ice cream is a great way to bulk up a little bit. You're going to need some carbohydrates to add on some mass.
But the options available are amazing now. I remember about 30 years ago attending a hockey party. Back then they were a club sport and the guys were happy that the club and coaches will get them creatine back then. I look back at that now and I laugh.
I laugh in $100 million plus arena, lol! For an average trainer or some gym rat on his own it would just cost too much to do what they have available. Red light therapy, massage therapist, chiropractors, nutrition availability, training equipment etc. etc. have all events so much from 40 years ago when I left in 30 years ago when the hockey players were happy they got some free creatine .
