Enka 4-0?

for the first time since 1957? What is going on? Just a weak schedule so far, or has a new coach and some new talent found a way? Will they win again this year?

New coach, and they have a good running game. Schedule hasn't been the toughest but they should win 6 or 7 games

The team believes in themselves and appears to fight harder than they normally would. Their schedule has been weak, except Pisgah, I wouldn’t classify us as weak (not world beaters, either) but we definitely underperformed and didn’t take care of the football.
With where Enka traditionally is they should schedule weak non-conference schedules to try and get some wins, so no harm there.

They should beat N. Buncombe and McDowell, play ACR and Erwin well maybe split those, and then lose to Asheville and TC. 6-7 wins in Candler is an enormous year.

They’re beating who’s on their schedule so that’s all the kids can do!

Their schedules weak but they’re also usually the team that is weak on other peoples schedule. And they have great support. I can remember years when we would be ranked and they would be 2-6 and they’d have significantly more fans than us

They had a great, loud crowd at our game. Band was loud. They were all fired up from pre-game to post-game.

That's the mystery. Regardless of the team, folks in Enka Candler have always come out to games in numbers that don't match up with the team's quality of the field. Hat's off to that community. Most schools would love to have their blind support.

I hope they win out. Was just wondering cause I haven't seen any games and was surprised by the Pisgah outcome. They must be down.
