No matter how you look at it. Last year and this are complete examples of malpractice in talent evaluation and roster construction.

SHU's 4th and 5th ranked transfers

Fisher # 436 ( 6'6 220lbs)
Staton McCray # 523 ( 6'4 200lb)


Fisher would have been an asset at the 4 and Staton McCray the big guard Pike is missing and probably less $$ combined than Fall and Francis

Or pay no one on the roster before you sign the “center “ or impact players.,

None of the guys on the roster would be paid by any other school so they are not going anywhere.

Don’t midmajors pay players too? I’m sure our guys would get money somewhere just not at other high majors. Buchanan averaged over 27 minutes for GW and put up double digits two years in a row. Someone was going to pay him something we just have no idea how much. Put another way, if we spent our entire allocation up front on 1 or 2 players, we don’t know how much lower level the guys we’d be able to land to play for free would be than the guys we have now. Clearly we have to take more of a chance though. Can’t go into a season without at least 2 proven high major impact players.

More swings and misses by this coaching staff. Its a feature with them.
