for those of you that have seen practices over the last year or so, do you think we are going to look more like LSU in the sense that we will use 3 or 4 RBs next year or is there going to be one guy that gets 20+ carries a game? It seems as though Perk, Griffin and Robinson all bring a unique skill set to the table and could be a seriously talented tandem next year. How does Milton play into all of this?

I think we'll continue to see a split between two backs much like what we have now. Griffin and Milton are the same type of back as are Perkins and Robinson. Assuming Griffin remains healthy, I expect him to be our Vic Ballard type back for the next three years with Perkins continuing to be a change of pace guy. Hopefully we'll have a much improved OLine next year so Perkins can be utilized more in the passsing game and create some serious mismatches.

He is really built like a bowling ball with great speed. I wouldn't be surprised if he was about 5'9/210-220 by next year. Word is the staff is downright giddy about Robinson. Griffin is obviously also going to be a stud. I think we will see a rotation of Griffin/Perkins/Robinson. Not sure how Milton will fit in yet, but if he overtakes any of those guys that is a good problem to have.

I thought I read Milton reinjuried his knee but I could be wrong about that.

I think he hadsuffered a knee injury when he committed to us last year and was immediately tabbed as a redshirt because of it. So unless something new has happened, I expect him to be 100% when spring camp opens.
