I dunno, it could be an epic time suck. After lurking around this forum for a while I've decided a few things (and I am predominately being sarcastic and poking fun, but there is a little truth in every joke): this a microcosm of how divided America is and also a fair sample of a chunk of what is wrong with it. People just drop random social media posts in threads and treat it like it is Gospel. It really is interesting. We'll just bypass that folks on both sides are simply engaging in extreme confirmation bias. They are just going and searching for hot takes that reinforce their belief system or their predetermined points of view, and then get emotionally invested when someone else with a different point of view does not agree with them. Inevitably "discussions" devolve into hurling insults and individuals only becoming more deeply rooted in their original beliefs. I hope the majority of people in here post for fun because ain't anybody changing anybody else's mind.

That's true but you're only telling the part of the story that fits your political bias. Trump and Epstein were friends who partied together in the 80s and 90s. But the two had a falling out after that when both were bidding to buy the same properties. Later Trump banned Epstein from Mar a Lago after hitting on a member's daughter.
I'm not casting Trump as some sort of angel. He was a playboy of sorts back in the day. I just see a lot of hypocrisy in posts suggesting that Trump participated with Epstein to traffic underage girls. There's absolutely no evidence to support that.
This is a dangerous move. The Truth is always a defense to a Libel/Slander claim. So does Trump really want to go the distance in a highly publicized suit to see whether or not it’s true? He could come out vindicated in 18 months or a ton of other salacious **** could be found in the process. Either way, if you want people to forget about something this is probably not the way to do it.
