Yes - and it was a road loss.Wisconsin is 5-3, and lost their starting quarterback and running back, key reasons why they won.
We’re 6-2, so there is a reasonable explanation that describes why we’re better today.
Did you miss that they lost their starting QB and power rankings are inherently related to the team as they stand, not their hypothetical ceiling? We lost. Did ya miss that
On that basis this list still doesn’t make sense.Did you miss that they lost their starting QB and power rankings are inherently related to the team as they stand, not their hypothetical ceiling?
They feel we would beat Wisconsin if we played today. That is why PR’s change every week.On that basis this list still doesn’t make sense.
Right. I understand that. But even with that explanation, that list still doesn’t make sense. We beat Penn state if we played today? Cmon. Lets try. They feel we would beat Wisconsin if we played today. That is why PR’s change every week.
Not a difficult concept
It's literally yahoo
Other poster was implying there is some sort of conspiracy by ESPN to imply the conference is top heavy/bad.And the difference is what? OK Yahoo driving clicks. Literally the same thing. Thanks for the helpful correction but wouldn't it be better served pointed to the tread starter?

Besides that, just silly we have so many pessimistic "fans" in this forum.
Wisconsin's backup QB is better than their previous starter. Both were transfers, sometimes the wrong guy starts first, especially when they aren't around for a long time.Sure you can. Wisconsin is 5-3 and lost their starting quarterback.
Uh what? How? Mordecai clearly better than Locke. Better passer and dual threat. Locke has a lower completion percentage than Wimsatt.Wisconsin's backup QB is better than their previous starter. exactly- I would think if we were playing Wisc this week, we would be favored. It will be interesting after the OSU game what the thoughts would be against Iowa.
I do question us being over PSU though. That doesn't make much sense.
yeah- you and I agree on thatRight. I understand that. But even with that explanation, that list still doesn’t make sense. We beat Penn state if we played today? Cmon. Lets try.
Wisconsin is also missing other players that Mordecai had. Just watch the games both have played and you can plainly see Locke is the better player. Mordecai is also a RS SR and Locke is a RS FR.Uh what? How? Mordecai clearly better than Locke. Better passer and dual threat. Locke has a lower completion percentage than Wimsatt.

Yes. And on the all elusive, "would we win today?" measure, which apparently subjectively guides this cockamamie listFor Rutgers, any mobile QB presents more of a problem than a pocket passer. I’m not saying that means we would necessarily beat Wisconsin now, but regardless, we have a better overall record than them and the same in conference record. It’s not unreasonable for someone to rank us ahead of them on this basis. I do agree PSU at 7-1 should be ahead of us based on any possible metric.
