I don't see Stoops being fired a third of the way through the season, but I can see his hand forced into firing Eliot. If in fact Stoops is let go, it's merely to save face and get a leg up on finding his successor, even though that's not really going to be viable until the regular season is over. If Gran is named interim, I wonder how the team responds. Sometimes you see an energy and effort surge for a few games after something like that.

Cheating on your wife is not a fireable offense in most work places but cheating with an employee or another "vulnerable" person might be considered a terminal offense.
And by "might be" you mean "100% no doubt, you're fired clean out your desk and security will escort you to your car". Unless you have no superior.

Yeah.

Since when has a coordinator saved a season after the coach was fired, went on to become the next head coach, and excelled? I guess anything is possible, but it sounds stupid to me.

If you fire Stoops after the South Carolina game, you're basically just cancelling the season. Don't get me wrong, I don't think he's going to win or be around much longer either way.

Ever heard of a guy named Dabo Sweeney? That's how he became coach at Clemson!

Go Big Blue!

Clemson, here we come.

Your comments have cracked me up the entire thread. You get proven wrong and ripped over and over. Yet you still comment comebacks that prove nothing except that you are wrong. You just keep going at it anyways lol.

Your arguments basically go like this
You: the sky is green
Other guy: the sky is blue actually
You: the sky may be blue but it has clouds in it.

Youre my new hero. You cant lose an argument even when you do, you have to be a woman lol.

This is factual, not a rumor. I do not know if this has anything to do with the deleted threads because I did not read any of them...

But just an hour ago, Stephen Johnson tweeted something to the effect of "Can't believe this, This one is gonna hurt for a long time" I'm paraphrasing, but that was the general theme of the tweet.

Hope there is not a problem with him, but it's not hopeful to see our starting QB post something like that at midnight of the day of his first start. Hope it's nothing that will effect his play. I'll be praying that he is at peace and is ok! Hopefully he is ready for a Cats victory tomorrow, Go Big Blue!
