Purdue and Stanford?

Happy James Corden GIF by The Late Late Show with James Corden

At least it's not East Carolina and South Alabama.
Both of those teams are a tier higher than we are, in tier 15.

Here's that full tier, 15 non-p4 teams:

App State
Buffalo
East Carolina
Florida Atlantic
Fresno State
Louisiana
Ohio
North Texas
South Alabama
Texas State
Troy
UConn
South Florida
UTSA
Western Kentucky

There are also 10 other non-p4 teams ranked ahead of us in total (tiers

Boise State (tier 4)
Liberty (tier 10b)
Memphis (tier 10b)
James Madison (tier 10b)
Toledo (tier 10b)
Tulane (tier 10b)
UNLV (tier 10b)
Army (tier 13)
Navy (tier 13)
Air Force (tier 13)

Guys....it was a joke. Strictly perception and name recognition.

I fully understand the reality.

I wonder how many coaches took the time to actually vote? They probably have some human auto pen.

I think/hope you have OM and Oklahoma a tier too high, and Arkansas and us a tier too low.

some of these teams are wild cards, I’d put Tenn, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Florida in that group. All could be pretty good or big disappointments. I think Arkansas is a dark horse that could win 8. Auburn with Arnold is a bit of a mystery also.

Get rid of tier 1b & move those into tier 2 and you’re pretty much there.
