I'm guessing this is one time where they don't have us confused. Obviously they just like the guys we're bringing in better. They have guys like Z Mason, Craid Drummond, and Dele Junaid rated pretty highly.

ESPN always has a slightly different take on recruiting. I'd be curious to see someone do a statistical analysis to see which site has a better hit rate.

I think I read recently that someone did that already and they determined that Scout was the most accurate.

Yeah, no ESPN comparison, but is it necessary to compare KIA against BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, and Jaguar?

analysis is pretty flawed. However, I will say ESPN has traditionally been bizarre w/ its recruiting rankings and the worst of the three. I think they are working hard to get better now that they have decided to compete w/ scout and rivals and start their own message boards. Does MSU have an espn affiliated board like we do now?</p>

I think, as a whole, ESPN is probably still a little behind in the game for recruiting rankings since they are still fairly new at it. However, if I had to guess, I'd bet that 20 years from now ESPN will be the most respected source for recruiting information. They see the market, and if they choose to do so, they can put money and staffing on recruiting that Rivals and Scout just won't be able to do. It's all part of the sports monopoly they are creating, and I'm sure if they want to, they'll take over recruiting as well.
