Not shocked to see OM. Surprised there is no Missouri. North Carolina looks a little high. Surprised to see Florida and Iowa in the top 25.

A&M at 16? Florida at 25? Carolina has a lot to replace too. Shaw's backup was not very good vs Mizzou....agreed that it is strange they are not in there at all.

Thompson actually played OK in that game. Davis's 2 fumbles lost deep inside Mizzou territory hurt USC a lot worse than Thomson did. He'll be one of the better QBs in the SEC next season.

I'm also questioning LSU at 10. They lose a ton, assuming Hill goes pro.

And A&M and Florida.... Come on, now.

Clay Travis put them 17th.

Clay Travis might post some humorous musings from time to time, but I don't value his football insight one bit.

He should stick to lampooning fan bases and posting pictures of hot girls.

Strictly talking mostly SEC.

-Who is replacing McCarron? obviously they'll have another good one, yeldon, and the other big back that looked so good.
-I think I would have to put AU above Bama at this point returning Marshall
-Agree with others LSU losses a whole lot. They just reload. I don't see that tigah defense getting back to what it was yet. Should be a down year for them, but who knows.
-aTm Feel sure Manziel is gone. I am going to have to see them play w/o him. defense is terrible w/o their best two offensive weapons. I say average again.
-Notre Dame?? Is that a joke?
-I thought AZ State sucked *** when I watched them play TTU. TTU beat their ***. Todd grantham/Lane Kiffen/Stoops....it's a toss up for biggest ******* in CFB.
-OM I just say, fine by me. Not too worried. Just stop Treadwell (w/o the threat of moncreif) and put pressure on goldie locks. he'lll throw it or roll it to wrong jerseys.

I honestly wouldn't have been surprised to see MSU break in over Florida. Florida really has no business being there after the crap they just did this year.

Since 2002, MSU has only finished higher than 5th twice

2007 - 4th
2012 - 4th

For Ole Miss, it's been prettier but not by too much.

2003 - 2nd
2008 - 2nd
2009 - 3rd

It was depressing looking at those old standings. It was basically our 2 teams battling for 5th.

Just like I predicted, there's Georgia waaaaay up there. Somehow. Again. Florida even making it on there boggles the mind. I guess it was between them and Tennessee for that last spot. The SEC East might as well be the NFC East. Bunch of big-name programs full of worthless pre-season hype mainly due to some fading past glory and their massive fanbases.

Mauk and DGB are good enough alone for Mizzou to be top 20. Awful rankings. Clemson loses Boyd and Watkins. Goodbye offense. LSU and UGA 10&11? What. Mizzou is better than both of them. LSU has lost sooo many guys early the last 2 seasons. LSU will struggle to win 8.

Why did you start in '02? Why not say '98?

yeah he doesn't want to go back to the 98 season because msu beat them 28-6 and went to the sec championship, something ole miss did not do during the bcs era

The Bama QB next year looks to be between upperclassman Blake Sims and a RS Freshman from Utah, Cooper Bateman.
