and now making the SEC Tourney final- if we get left out should we lose, it will be ********.

Either way, we are going to have to examine the way we schedule. Better scheduling would eliminate alot of this.

We have the #1 all time shot blocker and we love to lauch 3's...as Jimmy Dykes said, we "pass the eye test". I just refuse to believe if we get beat by the #2 team in the country today we all of a sudden have lost our luster for the committee. If there is any justice we are either in or out as of right now, damn the SEC final. </p>

If you beat Rider and Western Kentucky, there is no bubble discussion

Leave the schedule alone and next time beat these teams

I imagine we figured UCLA would have been a big RPI boost. Not our fault on that. Plus, if we beat Richmond, we aren't sweating anything today. Just needed one more win and today's game wouldn't matter. I'm not totally convinced we are out right now anyway. Lunardi misses a couple every year, and he doesn't make the decisions anyway.

and we still only have 2 quality wins. Sure, the RPI goes up slightly, but even if we're higher in the RPI, we're still on the bubble because we only have two quality wins. Unless we're replacing Rider with a top 50 team, there's very little difference in our resume.<div>
</div><div>I think the biggest schedule adjustment we need is to schedule more "potentially quality" teams. The SEC West gives us very few chances these days to get a quality win, so we've got to adjust. This year, we tried to schedule about 5-6, and we need to bump that up to 9-10.</div>

We are 79. Kentucky is 64. Ole Miss 68. Ohio State (possible #1 seed) is 51. Even Syracuse is at 43. Our scheduling is adequate when you consider, as I've said before, who is willing to play us. All we needed was one more win and we would be in win or lose today.

UCLA killed us - we scheduled that game specifically for RPI reasons, I imagine. Just our luck that they were horrible.

when the talking heads knock us its always b/c we haven't beaten anyone. Bilas and Vitale just did it. Even if we beat WKU and Rider, we are still 2-4 against the top 50.

We do not stand out apart from any of the bubble teams in any factor. I really have no idea how we are even on the bubble.

My argument if I was Rick adn had to plead to the committee would be that everyone always whines about the big conferences not giving the mid majors a game. We played plenty of mid majors. That's the only argument I can make.

EVERYBODY you have seen discussing it on TV has talked about how we don't have the top 50 wins coupled with bad losses. We aren't getting enough quality wins

Florida is being touted over us because they played 11 top 50 games to our 6...UCLA was bad luck, but don't act like the schedule is fine. Playing a better schedule would give us more chances to get some better wins. And if we can't win those games, we don't deserve to be in it anyway
