Even Denzel doesn't 100% know what his brother is going to do...

Reading the twitter - Robert Nkemdiche said he is thinking about making his decision in Feb - possibly signing day.

I really think he signs with Bama.

It's all about setting up the hat ceremony.

Though I do think that the further away from the regular season it gets, the worse the odds get for UM (if he isn't a double-secret commit already).

This. Since he hasn't committed to Ole Miss yet, I'm getting a little worried if I'm a Bear Recrootin fan. They should just look at it like they weren't going to get him, and if they do, it's gravy. Not to mention a hat ceremony on signing day is just fluff.....he would help the whole class if he committed right now.

I'm sure there are PLENTY of people in his ear telling him he's making an effing STUPID decision if he goes to Ole Miss to play with his brother. Let's get real here, it's his life, and he's an NFL guy. Go play for Saban, who is known for fundamentals.

Probably......

It's all about setting up the hat ceremony.

When you are a recruit of his rank you can do that without worrying about losing your offer from your favorite team. Any coach in the US would boot his own son to open up a spot for him.

Robert still needs a little more room to make his decision:

They should just look at it like they weren't going to get him, and if they do, it's gravy.

Isn't this the attitude that should have been assumed by everyone since Day 1 of his announcing his interest? I mean really, if we get him, it's gravy. If we don't, we really haven't lost anything, just didn't gain anything. Its not like he has ever been "ours to lose."

Let's get real here, it's his life, and he's an NFL guy.

....which is why he can go anywhere he wants, even to some Big East or ACC school, and still be fine. He's an NFL guy, going to Alabama isn't going to change it. Go where you will be happy. That could be winning everything, that could be spending 3 years playing ball with your brother.

0% chance. Nothing to do with Ole Miss, but that has no chance of happening.

You are right. Why go to Bama where you have a chance at multiple National Title rings. The knowledge that you can go to TSUN and be able to tell your children and grandchildren that you witnessed a Klan rally is more appealing.

Oh God, you're right, thanks for setting me straight. You obviously know a ton about Robert Nkemdiche's recruitment.**

And you and Yancy do?

Come on, player. Acting like Alabama is not in the game for the guy is ignorant at best. Look, we know your sources. We know his mother wants him with his brother. We know his brother said he'd commit in two weeks from the Egg Bowl. We know he's visited like 10 times.

But did you also know that his mother likes Alabama? Did you know that he's said over and over he prefers Clemson? Why hasn't he committed yet? Instead of 2 weeks, it's now Signing Day. Why do that? He could have helped Ole Miss bring in some other blue-chippers if he committed early. I haven't seen one time where Robert himself said he wanted to go to Ole Miss and prefers it over the others. LSU seems to think they have a good chance.

Far cry from a few weeks ago when he was Ole Miss' to lose. If this weekend passes and he hasn't committed like his brother said, I'd say Ole Miss has lost its chance.

Alabama has been out of the pictures since about March or April

His mother likes them, but they rubbed the father and Robert the wrong way with some of the things they said. And Courtney Upshaw's plummeting to the end of the 2nd round after Alabama had been pitching him as "the next Courtney Upshaw" didn't help things.

He'll go to LSU before he goes to Alabama. But I'm sure you know otherwise in your infinite wisdom.

Your opinion lost what little credibility it had right here....

That's just ignorant. Even the most recruiting obsessed Ole Miss fan would tell you that. So where does that leave you?

dude are you serious ???

Surely you are not that stupid.....I also seem to remember him tweeting about the guy that Ole Miss took the scholarship from or withdrew an offer or somehing because he was hurt....I think he said it was "messed up what Ole Miss done" or something to that effect.....

So since he would be "the next Courtney Upshaw", and he went down in the draft, that would influence his decision????....As opposed to Ole Miss that is just a NFL starter kit? yeah riiiiiiiight.

I am sure that the thought of winning championships and being in the spot light is not important to him....
