UNC is the most valuable property in the ACC
Not close
UNC will end up in the SEC. Matter of when.

Especially considering the academic partnership that is now going on in the SEC. You have 4 very powerful public schools

I love this place. Just like that a great thread is off the tracks. Time to bail.

There's too many scenarios to consider and at some point you just gotta let the cards fall, but one very refreshing thing I've noticed during this recent expansion discussion is that it seems nearly universally accepted that WVU should he the ACC invite.

I think the wind is blowing in the right direction for WVU...

I’ve heard WVU is gonna be fine.

You can now put 75% of the revenue of the Big 12 with SEC
Well over a billion dollars.

There isn’t any other option except beg those PAC 12 schools
But they aren’t coming

My guess is you’ll never be a Commissioner of a college football conference. We had a commissioner like you in a fantasy football I was in several years ago. It folded four years ago because he thought the entire deal revolved around him. You know nothing except what you Google and then connect the dots in weird narratives. I know who you are. You are the “out of the box” guy that gets ignored because you lose sight of reality.

Now we know how Chris Beard made all those big dick moves.

Not just football but basketball is included as well

I can list the schools but when they all become better basketball schools than UNC the Tar Heels will have no other choice

Doesn‘t mean anything to BigTen Google boy. Big has been leader of the pack and will continue to dominate. Anyone that thinks BigTen is compromised by this development is not credible. The SEC and Big define stability. The Big probably will add but they don’t need to unless there is a bigger plan. Everything is on the table. The ACC is at mercy of what Big decides to do.

Delusional.

3 NC since 2000 in the major sports. You can’t lead from behind.

B1G is playing catch up. Now they really are.
Funny thing is two of those NC are 2000-2003
Only 1 NC in a major sport since the beginning of 2003.

This isn’t a B1G board. Take that stuff over to Bucknuts

Again dot connecting that is relevant to you but means nothing to the gravy train. You act like the Big10 is the BigEast or something. I go from thinking you are delusional to thinking you’re just a fvckin idiot. Very confusing times.

That will be the attack on the B1G for the next 10-15 years
Yes they have 14 schools that have large fanbases. No one will disagree about that.

But outside of their fans there will be an attempt to bring all those eyeballs to the SEC.

You can’t deny facts
1 Championship in basketball
0 in baseball
2 in football
All since 2000

With the addition of Texas and OU to the SEC
There are multiple schools who have more or the same amount by themselves
Texas
LSU
Alabama
Florida

Are really this dumb. Let’s say every team BigTen sucks and zero titles for any sport proves how bad the BigTen sucks. Yet here we sir today with SEC adding UT and OU just to get into the BigTen penthouse. Your narrative is irrelevant and a joke. You’re just to dumb to realize it or to insecure to ACCept it.

Big Ten fans are entertaining.

Since all of them on here represent schools who have been left out or could.

Counter their ******** with the SEC 🤣

So funny that your argument why BigTen is fvcked is the opposite of your defense of the Big12 in the past. So funny!

Legit question. Who out there can FSU get right now that can fix this? It's a dumpster fire.

Not sure and never said one time that the ACC and/or FSU are great. What I do know is the ACC is viable and with proper leadership will be a factor for at least a decade. If the NCAA gets the boot and the 7-10 major players create a National structure that centers on the top 40-60 programs then there will be some disappointed programs that are forced to deemphasize football commitments. Personally I think the end game is further down the road and things will settle down. Then the Big and the ACC will go down the road they think is best for the next 5-7 years. If WVU gets the chance to move into another conference I’m hoping and thinking its ACC. At least that’s what I’m hearing.

Cluck head townes, supposedly a Texas fan spends 24/7 on a WVU board even after his ****** team that has done nothing but hire and fire coaches the last 10 years is moving to the SEC. A place where they will still be mediocre.

FSU has about 2 more seasons before it becomes Nebraska 2.0. Clemson to the SEC would end the ACC.

How can Clemson and FSU leave the ACC? The exit fee alone is $50 million and the broadcast rights for 17 more years? They cannot litigate, obfuscate, or even perpetuate their way out of that. The best ***** in the world is not worth over $100 million. Both schools signed onto the exit fee and broadcast deal. You get either one out and I will personally give the ACC to Notre Dame. (As if they don't own it now)

The only ones I know that could get Clemson out of the ACC are people like George Soros, Mark Zuckerburg, or Jeff Bezos. Any of them or several others could simply write a check for $200 million on behalf of Clemson and it's a done deal. Otherwise, they will be there after Dabo Swinney retires.

ESPN obviously trying to get all the highest brands under their umbrella.

but most have thought the Big Ten is leaving ESPN for quite awhile. Therefore ESPN would have 0 control over anything Big Ten.

Good chance, with the BIG 12 eliminated, that both CBS and FOX will get B10 rights moving forward.

Even if its just FOX--this really comes down to who does FOX want to keep out of the paws of ESPN at this juncture. They can pay the Big Ten whatever they want, and pay them enough to move whatever teams they want into the Big Ten.

I know 8 schools right now (heck maybe 12 more besides that) that are more than a bit interested--if FOX is.

ESPN has given everything to the SEC now, the Big Ten and FOX (and very likely CBS) are likely going to counter that- or become irrelevant in televising major college sports.
