I hope our gameplan revolves around scroing about 50 pts.

I guess you could say all gameplans should be that way.

The contrarian school of betting would be taking MSU here. All the money going to a team playing against a home underdog.

This is the quick overreaction to both team's games this past weekend...

Smart money will roll in late in the week and the line will come back down...

You've done This a couple times now this season mizzou. It was listed on one random offshore site earlier at 2.5. When EVERY other site opened it was at 7. Whatever u look at has "open" listed as that random outlier site.

Also I am about 80% over the years taking a home SEC underdog in the early timeslot. Always seems to pan out

See, I think that your site is flawed.... The online sportsbooks wait until the guys in Vegas get their lines out to see what kind of action is going on.

The true open in Las Vegas was were the lines are set was -2.5. Lots of betting occurred on the Aggies yesterday afternoon... then the online sportsbooks opened with thier lines... which were essentially adjusted to relflect what happened to the Vegas lines. The online sportsbooks aren't putting their lines out before Las Vegas.

I wouldn't dare touch this game with a ten foot pole. The 7 point line in this game is a classic reaction of one team blowing out a terrible team, and one team getting blown out by a team that is by far the best in the country. The problem mistake that the gamblers make is that they believe one game correlates to the other, and due to the competition each team played, that just isn't true. I am not saying I would bet on MSU because I would say that you could make an argument that both teams could blow the other one out this weekend.

Its all a matter of which team shows up ready to play. How you bet on that I have no idea.

TAMU looks to me to be really fast and will spread us out. They are a high scoring machine and will beat the Dawgs by 14-17 points. Sorry.

I would do EVERYTHING possible to make them throw long, or intermediate routes.

I don't know scheme-wise how you make that happen, but that would be the goal, if I were D cordtr.

Johnny's gonna beat our containment and run some...obviously have to limit that, but I don't think his arm is good. We have to find a way to take advantage of that. Also, put a spy on the QB. Ole Miss had success donig that.

And we have to come to score 50 or so.

Crazy how this game is setting up to have a similar final score as the original Snow Bowl.

You think their D is good? Russell should have a field day against them. It

might be high scoring, but our D is better than theirs, and we will get a few stops against Manziel. I expect it to look like the Tennessee game all over again. I wouldn't be surprised if we beat them by 10 or more.

Compared to UT

A&M's D is very good. On an absolute basis, A&M has an average SEC defense, with the best rush end in the SEC outside of Columbia, SC. Given MSU's weakness at OT, this should be a concern. Moore is a better pass rusher than anyone Bama has. A&M's ypg are a bit skewed because teams tend to run a bunch of plays against them due to the tempo at which their offense plays. But if you look at ypp, A&M is right in the middle of the pack at 5.2 in conference, v 5.0 for MSU and 7.4 (!!!) for UT.

UT is seriously one of the worst defenses in the last 5 years in the SEC. According to Aschoff this morning, they've given up 50 plays of 20+ yards this season. In comparison, Bama has given up ~1,000 total yards in 5 SEC games. In SEC play, UT is allowing 522 ypg, 90 more than the 13th place team. They are allowing 42 points per game, a TD more than 13th place UK. Given the talent they have, it's almost inconceivable how they could be so bad, and yet somehow, they are.
