Worried for Coach Watson. Hoping for continued recovery and that he takes care of himself.

Me too. Hoping for the best. Now down to business. This is beaced and I'm back. I would like to thank everybody for their kind thoughts and wishes. I have been out of action with a leg injury for 3-4 months, but I have been watching the games and have been reading all the posts. Can't respond on my phone, so this morning my daughter is doing this for me on her laptop. Does anyone else think that Gavin seemed to be a little stiff and awkward when he is passing or ROPing. I have seen where other players have gotten involved in Yoga. Anybody think this would be helpful for him? Beaced is going on the limb for an 8-4 regular season, and I don't care who we play in the bowl, we will win it. Please keep posting and I will keep reading. BTW, I will be 98 on November 6. The day after we beat OSU- won't that be nice.

Some on the board thought you kicked the bucket, I know you're as strong as an ox beaced! Glad to have you back and stay strong! I like your optimism regarding Rutgers season!

Oh beaced!!!!! So happy to hear from "The King!". @yesrutgers01 @e5fdny and others will be so happy you are back! Sorry about the leg injury. Any eligibility left to play linebacker? 😉

Gavin is developing. Yoga is great for flexibility. Love your positivity on 8-4!!!

Welcome back Beaced!!!
Forgot to tag you. This has been a bleak day personally for me. Nobody I knew personally, but family and friends of friends/colleagues passed at 55 yo and 24 yo (one a Fire Dept LODD). Celebrate life every day. Smile, be happy, be nice. Leave people laughing. I need to do better on the last part on these boards when responding to negativity, and I'm working on it. Long live The King!!!

I just posted a reply to our friend, and I was kind in it. There is no "wrong" or "right" on some of these things, just some very strong opinions, and we all want the same thing in the end.

Long live The King!
I really don't think this is everything Greg said this past week.
You may be right. Wonder if anything was said about the Michigan game? Ha, ha.

I no longer care about the dang bye week- Beaced- we love you man...And to your daughter- thank you for doing this. I now have a smile on my face that will last the rest of the day no matter what.

And happy birthday if I somehow miss it. I did remember Nov 6th as it is only 2 days off of my Son's birthday and as you know- you and my Dad were both 1925 babies!

Can someone post instructions so that beaced can post from his phone?

Beaced- you know we all really just respect the heck out of you. You and I have had a few times to share things that are personal and besides your way of posting, the fact that you and my Dad have so much in common is remarkable- I think he was barely 2 months older than you.

To your daughter- your Dad really has thousands on this site and the other Rutger's site that hold him in the highest regard. I think that until he revealed his age- we all thought he was just a very funny, knowledgeable, respectful guy of about 40. I think he revealed his age about 10 years ago and so many of us were in complete shock and awe.
Don't tell him I said this though...lol He never bothers to read my posts anyway. 😁

Great to hear from you. If you didn’t know that you have a bunch of strangers/friends on here that think and care about you…well, you do now!

I think his footwork needs help.. and quickness. Speed.. he has once he gets going. ANd last week at Indy he seemed a bit quicker in transition from pocket passer to runner... that's good. means he can do it. Bu that same quick foot movement is needed to throw accurately and consistently.

Gavin has such a live arm he doesn't need his legs to drive for velocity or distance.. I don't think he realizes how repetitive motion and muscle memory contributes to consistent performance. As it is, I have posed the idea that he go on the run nearly every passing play.. get out of the pocket.. use the feet... pose a threat to run even when passing.. my guess is his consistency would not suffer much while in motion.. it seems to me that might actually help... if he cannot or will not do what most great QBs do for accuracy.

As for 8-4.. I like the way you think, young man.

Doesn't he have a coach for that ?
