when they said that "MSU recruiters" leaked information if it could be former coaches who were there at the time. Makes sense to me that they wouldn't call them MSU coaches but they had to tie them in officially to State. So, MSU recruiters is accurate and gives them the credibility they need.
I would have to think that Les Koenning would be one of the coaches who recruited him since he is the OC, coaches QB's, and since Newton was at a Texas JUCO at the time, and that was his territory.
The other I'm not sure who it would be, but if I had to take a wild guess, it would be Hevesey because he was at Florida with Cam.
My second guess would be Tony Hughes because he is the recruiting coordinator.

It's all right there on the website. This is why I got tired of seeing "sour grapes MSU recruiters" all over the place this week. It doesn't take a private investigator to know that college coaching turnover is pretty rapid, and that these "recruiters" might not even be on MSU's staff anymore. Knowing that, I guess it was probably too much to ask for a reporter to visit mstateathletics.com to figure out who those coaches were. Several coaches (including our "recruiting coordinator") are no longer with the staff.

that ad has been locked up so tight on 2 coaching search and even an a a.d. leaving... I don't see them leaking info

Jody is NOT involved with this at all. Auburn fans are just trying to find someone to blame. Good sources.
