Forgive me if this is a bad question but how are we hiring Bumphis to be WR coach and we haven't hired an OC yet? I would think that the OC would want his assistant position coaches or can the HC trump his choices?

Because Coordinators don’t pick their staff. Arnett didn’t get to pick his when he came to MSU.
The head coach makes the hiring decisions. Always has. Leach hired ZA and all of the defensive staff were Leachs guys.
