West Virginia is guaranteed to play Wednesday night in Kansas City. The Mountaineers get Kansas State in Morgantown on Saturday. WVU can move up to No. 7, if the Mountaineers win and OSU loses on Saturday. That’s as upwardly mobile as the Mountaineers can get.
In terms of the team, I don't think it really matters what seed they are. They can win or lose to any team in the conference and I will say pretty much the same with any team in the country, if healthy. Only things that matters in seeding is what time they play
Pretty much correct, except with finishing 7 and below, you have to play the extra game.
