It's no worse than seeing northern Illinois get to a BCS bowl before us all while having to hear the same lame *** excuse over and over about how it takes time, so much time, to get good enough to win anything.
This....how many excuses do we hear over the years while other teams blow past us, who can do what we never seem to do in much less time.
It takes time, were building a program, we need to go 1-0, we are a young team, we need a history of winning, we can't compete with the big boy, we don't have the talent, we don't have money, we need a jersey guy, too many pro teams, barchi is holding us back, Julie sucks,...bla bla bla...and teams with half the amount of fan base, support, and respect blow pass us...

Well, most of the excuses are BS, but Barchi is a problem, don't kid yourself.
On what planet does a University president have authority to spend that kind of $? None. Barchi can't do anything just like Julie. They serve at the mercy of the BOGs. The BOGs is the problem. Wake up people. What has Greg Brown done as chair of the BOGs?
Bac he isn't the "good" man as we thought he was. He was suspended and is under another investigation. That doesn't happen to squeaky clean good guys.
