For you young guys, absolutely the most talented freshmen class, all 5, if all time. They were damn fun to watch, and definitely misunderstood.....a must watch!

That was a feeble attempt by espn to cover for their homie. The mutherfockers were paid a small fortune to attempt to win a ntl chpnsp and FAILED! Go back under that rock.

I've seen so far (havn't watched all). Jalen Rose and Jimmie King are amazing to listen to in this movie. I watched the clip about them explaining their hate for Duke, Laettner and Hill five times. Hilarious how they described that hate for Laettner probably cause that's exactly how I felt as well. I'd love to see this same type of movie done about the UNLV Runnin Rebels with Larry Johnson, Stacy Augmon, Greg Anthony and Anderson Hunt. Best team ever in my opinion.

For one thing, they were WAY too defensive about the extra benefits paid, except for Rose who came off cocky as hell . . . for no reason. And, I would think that if Jalen Rose, Ray Jackson, and Jimmy King are the PRODUCERS of this special, it might be logical to conclude they would be able to get Webber to actually appear on it. That was major fail right there.

What an underwhelming attempt at what could have been a good show. This one was too one-sided . . . very little input from national media folks (just those in Detroit that the Fab Five guys "liked".)

I've always found it interesting how morons who never won anything (despite both legal and illegal efforts to do so) can talk **** about the folks who did win something. Grant Hill and Laettner were winners. The Fab Five never won a national championship and had to forfeit most of the games they did win, yet they still want to talk crap. I think I'll go see if some hobo under a bridge wants to tell me how poor a businessman Bill Gates is.

I will say, it wasn't as good as I had hoped, and really doesn't hold a candle to ESPN's Fab 5.

But worth checking out.</p>

I was flipping channels wishin I had another 30 for 30 to watch and there was the Runnin Rebels special. It wasn't quite as good because it wasn't done by espn I guess but it had the same feel as a 30 for 30. I felt like I was still watchin the show. It was also a good documentary. In my opinion, neither one holds a candle to the Run and Gun Offense 30 for 30. That one made me tear up.

comments about Ed. There was definitely something going on behind the scenes. I had no idea that Webber went to private school. Jalen said that Webber played against some white boys in nice gyms, while he played in the public school system. On any given night you could be shooting ft's, and someone could put their hand in their coat to let your know that you might need to miss this ft, because he will catch with you in the hood. Some funny **** the way Jalen said it.

I think they were honest about their disdain for Duke, but they admitted that in the second half of championship that Duke took it to the next level and they couldn't keep up. I did think it was ****** that Webber didn't participate in the show, and I do think their might be a riff between them. If they played in today's game, how many T's would that team get per game for all the **** talking that they did?

On that note, have you noticed that Duke hasn't changed a bit? They still recruit the exact same players they used to recruit. They don't recruit the Derek Rose's or the John Wall's. They rarely cross paths with the John Calipari type coach in who they recruit.

They don't recruit the Derek Rose's or the John Wall's.

He took on campus visits, informal offer, formal offer, everything except huge piles o' cash that I'm sure Calipari was structuring. But I understand the point you're making. Duke players' character is rarely questioned.

and said he wasn't necessarily opposed to taking "one and dones" but that most players with that intention could not get into Duke. Makes sense, if they cared about a college education and not just getting to the NBA, they would probably have better grades in high school.

but the point was that Duke still recruits the same type of players they recruited in the early 90s. The make up of their team hasn't changed all that much.

integrity and character rich athletes and consistently win so damn much. It doesn't hurt that the academia that they offer is phenomonal, and Coach K helps also.

He was a sophomore in college, playing in his second National Championship game, and he still didn't grasp the concept of understanding the game situation.

...I'll say this for Jimmy King. I bet he wasn't calling Laettner a ***** after they boat raced them by 20 in the title game.<div>
</div><div>I think in both title games Fischer got out-coached (no shame there when you are getting out-coached by two of the greatest of all time).<div><div>
</div><div>I liked Duke as a kid for the same reason black people voted for Obama. It was cool to see someone like me (i.e., white) excel at something that was dominated by another culture.</div></div><div>
